This is among the best, no doubt, in Yangon and the room was OK, but the lobby was difficult with the entrance construction going on. We tried to have a group meeting but there was no good place to gather -- ended up on stiff chairs in a big hallway. Forgettable dining room and meals. Location is good in some ways -- an easy walk to the nearby Mintha Theater and to several nice eating places -- but otherwise our too-large bus was frozen by typical Yangon city center traffic every time we left. Huge construction site next door won't help the situation. Nothing charming about this place.

You'll be fine staying here if part of a mega-tour or in town for work. Not much nearby though, and the on-site options are limited. One of the bars is downstairs and doesn't see much action midweek (but a high cover charge on weekends). The lobby restaurant is where everyone hangs out but only because of the free drink tickets I think. FIne place, but not good if you are looking for a local vibe

I can't believe you can be at such a nice place in Yangon. We stayed here 3 nights and what great service. Roods were comfortable and breakfast choices were amazing. There are also restaurants on site and can take the local bus fir adventure downtown.

Room Tip: Although rooms face the interior you might choose not facing them as they have evening events that c...

Booked into this hotel with a group tour. It was my first night in Burma and I was surprised at the quality of the hotel, the comfort and size of the room and the amenities of the hotel. Others have talked about construction at the site, but this was not intrusive and did not interfere with enjoyment of the hotel. Try to get a room with view of the lake.

Room Tip: Ask for room with view of lake.

Sedona Hotel in Yangon is definitely a five star hotel. To start with, it has a very friendly and courteous staff. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The lobby is huge with lots of seating. The breakfast spread offers many varieties of tasty food. The check-in and check-out process is quite easy too. I wish we had more time to enjoy the premises.

Room Tip: We didn't use room service nor see if there were kids activities. The junior suites have a nice...

I stayed here as part of a tour. The place is tops in all ways. View of the lake from my window, in room fridge, helpful front desk, great breakfast buffet, cimfortable beds, hot water, good lighting.

Stayed here two nights on a tour. Everything works--hot water, sit down toilets--all the comforts of home. Wifi was supposed to be down but it worked great in my room with strong signal. Bed is the most comfortable I've found in SE Asia anywhere. They do have construction occurring but it's daytime and quiet at night. In contrast to others, it didn't bother me at all--rooms are huge and the corridors quiet as the hallways are carpeted. Don't miss this place. One of the best hotels I've stayed in anywhere in the world and I've been around. Breakfast is American, Korean, Chinese (dim sum yummy) , Indian. Eggs to order.

Room Tip: Some rooms have temple views. They might cost more. Mine looked out on the pool and was just fine.
