We went to Myanmar all the way from Singapore to attend our friend's wedding.
PROS:
-Hotel location is good.
-Everything in the room was perfect. Beds are comfy, clean, amenities were complete and most importantly we feel cozy in it. -Operator was consistent. Within a ring they pickup the call and all through our 4days stay there they've never picked up the call on thesecond ring, always just a ring a you are attended to.
-Food was perfect and affordable like for buffet breakfast was $18 and for a glass of beer was just $3. Room service was commendable, 5star service I can say.
-though we've never tried to deep our bodies in the pool. It looks refreshing.
-massage was affordable and good too.
-they have salon, massage, gym, pool, 24hr roomservice.
-easy connection to wifi and connection was excellent only that when you were at the corridor or lift it does not work
-near bogyoke market and near supermarket as well.

CONS:
-Nothing much, only that there was a slight language barrier (which is very common) when we spoke to the room service guy on our 4th day, but staffs were all excellent not to the mention the lady at checkin whom i've never seen smile.
-And oh RENOVATION, i have nothing against renovation but atleast for a short duration of the wedding they have been very considerate enough to have it stopped. During the wedding they have never stopped the renovation! What was an hour to stop the noise compared to the memory of the couple hearing loud drilling sound on their wedding? Nobody wants that of course. Oh well, Just saying!
-oh, minimart has nothing much to sell.

BUT OVERALL, We'd definitely be back here should we have another visit to Myanmar and we will certainly recommend to friends.

It is a good place to stay, the staff get a little cranky when the check in is a busy, not the best But I was upgraded and got a nice view. welcome. However overall the staff is very helpful and friendly,. the rooms are nicely decorated. It is centrally located and has good internet connection.

I stayed there for 3 nights (16-19 May). Overall check in was fast and the staff was not hesitant at all to break our USD into smaller notes although it has holes in it. Moneychangers in airport didn't!

Room was smaller than the one in Kuala Lumpur, which was surprising. However what I like the most was each time I asked for any amenities to be sent to my room, it was exceedingly fast!

Didn't eat the breakfast cuz wanted to tryout the local food! Alot of reviews said it was great though, maybe next time I will tryout.

Overall it was a good stay and since I redeemed my Golden Circle points, it was a free stay for me, thus make it even more worth it. Loved it and.wouldn't mind coming back to Yangon again!

We stayed for 2 nights in a standard room with an extra bed for our 5 year old. We put our 4 year old on the couch which they supplied a sheet for. It was quite tight but worked. Breakfast is tremendous - loads of variety. All food / drink is priced for tourists at exorbitant rates - go out to get loads better value. It is well located. Pool area was very nice - gym also looked great although i didn't get to use it and renovations didn't bother us too much. Overall it was very pleasant. Prices of hotels in Myanmar have skyrocketed - compared to for example Bangkok - value for money is pretty poor and they charge a heap for an extra bed (we paid $65 USD), however it is definitely worth a visit.

stayed here for 4 nights and it's the best there is in Yangon. Breakfast at Traders never disappoint though KL still serves up the best. Wifi connectivity was excellent all around the hotel and its complimentary. Excellent water pressure in the bathroom, the rooms were refurbished so it's all good. though it cant be compared to other cities.

Stayed on a short business trip. Staff were great and the room extremely comfortable. A highlight was the superb food laid on a the Traders Club in the afternoons. Other random comments:
- The wifi worked well throughout the hotel which was handly.
- If just arriving in Myanmar, I would recommend just catching a taxi (about US$8 fixed price) from the airport.
- The hotel is really well located. Only a stones throw from the sprawling Bokyoke Market (previously known as Scott Market).
- Remember to take good quality (new) US$ notes for your visit to Myanmar and a reminder that your cell phone will almost certainly have no reception.

I stayed for 3 nights. The club rooms were on higher floors and the view of the Shwedagon Pagoda from the corner room was fantastic. The bathroom and its amenities were good. I was told by regular guests that while under renovation the club lounge was moved to a smaller room without views. Happy hour was quite satisfying with good food and socializing. Breakfast was great with high quality food. Location is excellent in the center of town with most destinations I needed within walking distance. The hotel is one of the few establishments in Burma that takes credit cards.
