This hotel has nothing to do with a "boutique hotel", with anything charming or atmospheric. It has very basic rooms, filthy bathrooms, and not overwhelmingly friendly not english-speaking staff...
BUT Yangon is a fast-changing town, prices are soaring everywhere, and it's really enjoyable to find a 8 dollar-room in the middle of the center of the core of downtown! You are 10 meter away from the great Sule Paya, which is the heart of the town, 50 meter from the Mahabandoola Park, right in the middle of a busy, colourful and wonderful street life....
Obviously, compared to neighbouring countries, it's bad value for money. But in Myanmar, it's really not a bad deal, provided you're a backpacker with little money in his/her pocket!
To sum it up: I like this place, I will come back there, but I wouldn't advise it to families or slightly demanding people!More
