NIce and new clean rooms- feels like in a hospital, no shower curtain so everything gets wet in the bathroom- more like a 2 Star hotel. Daily breakfast same-same everyday. spent 3N here. In vietnam- Saigon or Hanoi rooms like this is about $20-30 only- due to the lack of hotel rooms prices have gone up 3-fold times!
Will I stay here again -- I will pay the extra $20 for a decent 4 star hotel.

We stayed at this newly opened hotel (opened in Oct 2012) in the last leg of our Myanmar trip in Dec 2012 and stayed for a total of 2 nights. The hotel room and bathroom was pretty small but very clean. WiFi is available at this hotel and by Myanmar standards, it worked reasonably well.

What is really great about this hotel is its prime location. Smack in town, it is near to S U L E Pagoda and BOG-YOKE Market; and Traders Hotel is just a 1-2 min walk away. It comes in really handy to be situated near to Traders because as Clover is new, many taxi drivers do not know about this place. We have one taxi driver who, after we hopped in, drove to look for his friend at another street, and they communicated for at least 5 min before our driver finally understood where is our location. The whole episode was really pretty amusing. Another really useful point about being Traders Hotel's neighbor is that you will never go hungry as they have a 24-hour restaurant.

The front desk staff was friendly and efficient, and a number of them used to work in the hospitality industry in countries overseas. Breakfast, though nothing to shout about, was adequate. As it is a open-concept bath area & toilet, the toilet rolls often get wet when you shower. We resorted to creating our own toilet roll holder by fastening the toilet rolls to the towel rack using our money belt. Another amusing observation is that the apparatus holding the shower nozzle is fixed to the wall at a really high point. One has to tiptoe just to get the shower nozzle, and thus we again resorted to just laying the shower nozzle on top of the taps. The bed sheets and pillow cases have a polyester feel to it, though not entirely uncomfortable, I do prefer my cotton sheets and pillow cases any day.

We were lucky we booked the hotel during its promotional period as I believe got it much cheaper that way. We booked online around late September 2012 for a Superior Double Bed with breakfast included. When I recommended a friend to stay there in late Dec 2012, the walk-in rates were more than double of what we have paid. I will want to stay in this hotel again should I visit Yangon in the future.

Room Tip: We stayed in Room 710 (top floor). was really quiet and enjoyed a good view.

Tourists from Canada.
We stayed only one night on december. The hotel is located in downtown, in a very noisy street. But during the night the noises go down, so we slept perfectly.
The hotel has been working only for six months, and it is very very clean. Air conditioner works great and silently.

The staff was very very helpful
We will go back. We hope they invest to keep it this way for the next years.

Breakfast for 5$ per person but we did not have it .

Central location, clean in fact spotless, cleaned daily for our two day stay. Breakfast the same as the rest of Myanmar -oh for a bit of bacon. Helpful attentive staff. Agree that it is expensive for what you get. Great Wifi and it was fast. Would stay here again.

Hotel served its purpose. Was clean enough. Central enough. Was cost efficient for Yangon at the moment. Bathroom is small and all inclusive. Shower nozzle just to right and above toilet. The sheets are a bit stiff and synthetic but was warm enough to sleep on top. TV worked well. Compared to other hotels, the wife was fairly good. At least they had it. Staff kind and helpful. Breakfast didn't look appealing so I ate out. Do recommend a restaurant owned by a French family. Exit hotel left. Cross street and go left. Restaurant is in a deep red looking house.

Room Tip: Room on high floor.

Because it's new, it's still spotless. But it reflects the Myanmar problem: too expensive for what you get. Hello Myanmar people: Your place is not New York or London, all to the contrary! Although it's centrally located and has professional (rare in Myanmar) and helpful staff. A real problem: the single rooms all show to the street which is extremely noisy cause there is some immense exhaust air unit from the Traders Hotel.

Stayed here one night. Breakfast is an optional $5 per person, but we didn't have it. Rooms are small, but clean and modern. Nice Sony flat screens hanging from the wall. Hot showers. Wifi is free and was fast for Myanmar.

Here's my only complaint. The sheet and duvet are like polyester. So very uncomfortable.

Staff was very friendly. Very centrally located and a good value. If it weren't for those uncomfortable sheets I don't know if I'd stay here again.
