This is a hotel that is only a few months in operation. Location is in auspicious as the entrance way is off an alley behind Traders Hotel. The rooms are smallish, but extremely clean. The bath facilities is an all in one room, meaning the shower has no separate compartment and is in the same enclosure as the toilet and sink. Overall qauite serviceable but it was a surprise for us. The room had just one stool for seating in the room and no night stands near the beds. I guess space is at a premium in this section of town. Breakfast was not included but one can buy a set plate breakfast for $5. The plate was the same every day: juice, coffee/tea, a couple of bites of scrambled egg, a few potatoes in a sauce plus soome other Asian items, toast and butter, and ends with a fruit plate. Not bad but it is not the breakfast I would eat. We were there for five days and after a couple of tries at breakfast we ended up going to the Strand nearby for a wonderful breakfast selectioin. The laundry service was outstanding and very inexpensive. We used it to the max. The staff was very helpful and very friendly. The setting of the hotel that noise would penetrate from the alley below and nearby construction. Not fatal but also not ideal. We recommend this hotel but you should know what you are getting into: a clear, serviceable hotel but just that.

Room Tip: Get the largest room they offer. We had the next largest room as the others were not available. Th...

The rooms are a little small, and the rooms are expensive. However this is a common issue in Yangon, not just this hotel. In another country, it would not be this expensive

Whilst it may be a little expensive it does serve as a good first base to look around and find a cheaper hotel if you need to.

The room is clean, smoke free, and quiet.
The hot water also worked which is always a pleasant surprise.

The staff were very friendly, very helpful and were always willing to assist in anyway they could.

We did not try breakfast so cannot comment.

We would gladly stay here again,

Considering the quality of hotels in Yangon I could say that this is an OK hotel. We paid 75 dollars for a room with window that smelled bad and had polyester sheets... Good location. Agoda's website reservation worked well.

Booked the hotel via Agoda, night 100 usd, twin room (no702), no breakfast. Would say its 2-3 star hotel (europe standard). Fair price would be rather 40 or 50 USD.
Narrow reception area, bit smelly.
Room itself was rather small, simple outline, no cupboard- just 1 rail to hang clothes. Can be handy to carry some hangers with you as most of places they lack those. As being so high floor had a kind of view from the window, streets close by very noisy, city goes to sleep early and therefore starts early as well, around 5-6am all busy.
Bed was ok, although the sheets were extremely slippery, had to really hold on to the duvet :) (kind of shiny polyester, looked good but not good for use). There is fridge and safe in the room. AC is noisy.
Every day got free 2 l water.
Bathroom: soap, toothbrush and paste, shampoo, body wash, hair dryer.
Breakfast: we ate out as had no breakfast included to the room rate. Lot of possibiliteis eating out, the culture in Burma is eating out, so not to worry finding place to eat. Street food excellent, always fresh and tasty.
Location: hotel is right behind Traders hotel, great indicator whenever you are and if needed to explain to taxi. Note: handy to take business card from hotel where location is written burmese, most of drivers still do not really speak english, less they can read english.
website of hotel... clovercitycenter.asia and email: infoATclovercitycenter.asia
NB! note they have other hotel named Clover hotel, close to Shwedagon Pagoda. So be precise where do you stay:)

Hotel had no city map to offer, only to look in spot. So, not much use, nearest place you can have one is Traders hotel, convenient small pocket city map.

Few streets away, 29th str, had better hotel, Mayflower hotel- deluxe double room, walk in price 50 USD

Room Tip: I would think higher floors will have less noise and can get a view as well.

NIce and new clean rooms- feels like in a hospital, no shower curtain so everything gets wet in the bathroom- more like a 2 Star hotel. Daily breakfast same-same everyday. spent 3N here. In vietnam- Saigon or Hanoi rooms like this is about $20-30 only- due to the lack of hotel rooms prices have gone up 3-fold times!
Will I stay here again -- I will pay the extra $20 for a decent 4 star hotel.

We stayed at this newly opened hotel (opened in Oct 2012) in the last leg of our Myanmar trip in Dec 2012 and stayed for a total of 2 nights. The hotel room and bathroom was pretty small but very clean. WiFi is available at this hotel and by Myanmar standards, it worked reasonably well.

What is really great about this hotel is its prime location. Smack in town, it is near to S U L E Pagoda and BOG-YOKE Market; and Traders Hotel is just a 1-2 min walk away. It comes in really handy to be situated near to Traders because as Clover is new, many taxi drivers do not know about this place. We have one taxi driver who, after we hopped in, drove to look for his friend at another street, and they communicated for at least 5 min before our driver finally understood where is our location. The whole episode was really pretty amusing. Another really useful point about being Traders Hotel's neighbor is that you will never go hungry as they have a 24-hour restaurant.

The front desk staff was friendly and efficient, and a number of them used to work in the hospitality industry in countries overseas. Breakfast, though nothing to shout about, was adequate. As it is a open-concept bath area & toilet, the toilet rolls often get wet when you shower. We resorted to creating our own toilet roll holder by fastening the toilet rolls to the towel rack using our money belt. Another amusing observation is that the apparatus holding the shower nozzle is fixed to the wall at a really high point. One has to tiptoe just to get the shower nozzle, and thus we again resorted to just laying the shower nozzle on top of the taps. The bed sheets and pillow cases have a polyester feel to it, though not entirely uncomfortable, I do prefer my cotton sheets and pillow cases any day.

We were lucky we booked the hotel during its promotional period as I believe got it much cheaper that way. We booked online around late September 2012 for a Superior Double Bed with breakfast included. When I recommended a friend to stay there in late Dec 2012, the walk-in rates were more than double of what we have paid. I will want to stay in this hotel again should I visit Yangon in the future.

Room Tip: We stayed in Room 710 (top floor). was really quiet and enjoyed a good view.

Tourists from Canada.
We stayed only one night on december. The hotel is located in downtown, in a very noisy street. But during the night the noises go down, so we slept perfectly.
The hotel has been working only for six months, and it is very very clean. Air conditioner works great and silently.

The staff was very very helpful
We will go back. We hope they invest to keep it this way for the next years.

Breakfast for 5$ per person but we did not have it .
