“Nice and clean Hotel”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 February 2014

This hotel is a small hotel, the room is small but clean.
staff are friendly but the breakfast is limited.
Wifi is acceptable but the road in front of the hotel is small and not so nice.
This hotel is in the city center and it's easy to go to anywhere like shopping ,movie with a small pay to taxi.
From hotel you can walk to the park and also to see one pagoda named SULE.

Price is a little high compared with the amenities and services provided by the hotel.
In conclusion: I would like to recommend this hotel, it's not bad but it's not the best!

The hotel is located in the backstreet, behind Traders Hotel, the air is not fresh. The rooms are very small and always dump. Not well cleaned, the air conditioner had mold growing inside...yet we had to use it when in the room. Its not worth the price.
However, the staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Upon returning to Yangon from a six day trip in Myanmar, I was very disappointed with my stay in Clover City. The room was VERY bare, which felt like a college dorm, which was fine if it were clean, but it wasn't. I saw a line of ants crawling on the table next to my bed and there were crumbs under my the pillow....I was afraid there were gonna be fleas on the bed! The power also went out three times in one night, without a backup generator running. The only positive was the wifi that was running OK (by Burmese standards). Paid $120 for a twin, def not worth it! The Central Hotel was much more worth it!

Great location, 5mins walk to Bogyoke Market and Sule Pagoda. Just stone throw away from Traders hotel. Taxi's available just outside the hotel. Tell the reception where you want to go and they will get you a taxi. Rooms were excellent, very clean and all basic amenities available including WIFI. Front desk staff were very helpful but unfortunately we didn't get our early morning wake up call on the 1st day, so I suggest you prepare a backup just in case like I did... Besides that morning breakfast was a fixed menu with a variety of food, which I did not fancy. I will definitely stay here again and recommend this place to others.

We stayed here two nights while visiting Yangon. The hotel is well located near the Bogyoke Aung San Market. The room was small but clean and seemed quite new. There was a small safe in the room and wifi was ok. Breakfast was included but it was a strange selection of cold stirfrys, fruit and an eclair — I would suggesting giving it a miss.

We were very happy with our four night stay at the Clover City Center. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the location is fantastic - a quick walk to the Sule Paya, the markets, and downtown. As most have mentioned, rooms are basic, but very clean. Wifi is a bit weak, in my opinion, and while beds were comfortable, the pillows seemed a bit too thick, craning your neck. Did not eat breakfast there. With regard to value - I think the Clover is very good value. It's not a guesthouse, it's a hotel, and a decent, clean, well-located hotel. This being our first trip to Myanmar, it gave us a clean, comfortable, friendly introduction at a reasonable price. Regarding noise, yes, at times we heard dogs barking and morning prayers, but not enough to wake us or cause concern. If you want a good clean, modern room without the bells and whistles of a luxury hotel, the Clover City Center will fit the bill.

Great location in center of downtown, clean but pretty basic. Poor value, you will find better value for your dollar ( or kyat) elsewhere in yangon. Try the local food in downtown and head for a drink in 19th st.
