“Small local restaurant”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 April 2014

As other reviewers have said, not everything on the menu is available every day, but we had enough choice. Very good "house" fish curry. It was empty when we went at 6.30pm so perhaps too early. They do sell beer and wine now so you can have a drink with your meal. Service was OK. You can see them cooking in the kitchen and the loos are also at the back of the kitchen so you would need to go past the cook to get to them. Fans on the ceiling but pretty hot in there as the room is narrow. Interesting art work on the walls. They have made the place look very welcoming.

“Fantastic feed, Good deed”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 March 2014

I cannot recommend this little restaurant enough. The other reviews are right in that it is tricky to hunt down [on the second floor so you need to look up!] but once in the staff give you a classic Mynmar warm welcome and the food matches it. Clearly, it is also in service of a great cause but leaving that aside the food is fantastic. Yes, there is much on the menu they didnt have but heh, its all part of the experience and what they served up was spot on. We got a the balcony seat overlooking the street which was extra special. Highly recommend it.

“Pleasant place to fall in love with local cuisine”

A small cozy restaurant really surprised us with delicious and cheap burmese food. Decorated with modern paintings. Service was friendly, dishes arrived fast and hygiene seems ok.

“Worth checking out”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 January 2014 via mobile

The restaurant is located in the midst of India Town, bustled with energy and easy to find. The service is okay, we have seen much frendlier ones I guess. The menu is extensive but many items are not avaliable. Nonetheless we like it for the cause it supports and the decor is truly unique.

“great food n service at link age restaurant in yangon”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 January 2014

Went by taxi to link age restaurant. Was right next to a small green mobile phone shop. Go up small stairwell to 1st floor.
Very friendly staff. Chef speaks english n he was the instigator of this restaurant. Taking kids off the street n training them in hospitality. Doing amazing job.
Food was fantastic, great flavours with spices n herbs. Service was ok, myanmar service. Very clean n good decor with stunning artwork hanging on walls. Very cheap food but great quality.
We gave donation to the cause n suggested he needs a sign at street level for tourists to find.
