“Fantastic Idea, Cozy and Cool”
Reviewed 27 July 2014

The idea is not a new one, employing street urchins and providing opportunity to the destitute, and I hope it doesn't go away. While my Burmese girlfriend and I did not dine here, we'll be sure to return soon and do so. The table adjacent to us did eat lunch here, and the food looked excellent. They seemed well pleased with everything and they were not your average backpacker either; I guessed they were all either foreign diplomats or NGO staff, judging by their appearances.
The lassis and fruit juices were fresh {as they should be, and are almost everywhere in this nation} and the service was excellent. Great, because the boy serving us was all smiles when I thanked him with my extremely limited Burmese.
The art on the walls added to a lovely hour here on a weekend afternoon and most paintings, are for sale. Not cheap, yet what a brilliant cause.
Can't wait to return for a proper dinner!

“Hidden gem!”
Reviewed 2 July 2014

We had one of our best meals in Yangon here. Food was so delicious, one of the best!
The restaurant is family owned and run and if you are lucky you'll get served by one of youngest members of the family... he is so cute and so professional. An added highlight of our visit.
Even if you only have one meal in Yangon, I recommend you eat at LinkAge.

“Hard to find but worth it for a good cause”
Reviewed 2 June 2014

This tiny training restaurant for street boys only seats about 16 all up, and the menu is very limited (there is a lot of choice on the menu card but often many dishes are 'no have'. The curries are and fish dishes are very good and very cheap. Go often, chat to the trainees and help them improve their English, If you are lucky you will get the table on the little balcony and watch the glories of Yangon Street life while the sunsets and the lights come on. The art work on the walls makes a welcoming décor. You can hire the whole venue for a little party - I did!

“Fantastic find ”
Reviewed 28 April 2014 via mobile

While perhaps a bit off the beaten path, my traveling companion and I wandered in with some time to kill before a bus - and so glad we did!

Wonderful feel with all the art, and varied menu. The food is all made to order and by far one of the best meals I've had in Myanmar.

I ordered the pickled mango salad, while initially deterred by the description - it was FANTASTIC. Highly recommend.
