The hotel is fine, the staff are nice speak English and will help you with any questions.
The hotel is clean and has what you need to be comfortable. Location is perfect just a minute from metro.
Wifi in the rooms are very bad almost doesn't connect.

The hotel is clean, has modern rooms with comfortable beds and impeccably clean bathrooms. Also the location is convenient for most of the attractions of Tbilisi: near the metro station, walking distance to the cathedral and the presidential palace, short stroll to the river. Having said that, there were also shortcomings of the location: the neighbourhood is somewhat noisy and the hotel itself quite acoustic, so you have to handle neighbours partying and drunken hotel guests' late returns.

The hotel has big Visa/Mastercard logo on the doors and the card terminal in perfectly working order yet the receptionist DEMANDED cash payment. The staff (especially Maria) lacks manners, attitude and decent English. One night there was apparently a need to move one of the cars parked near the hotel to make space for the departure of another one and the reception was bold enough to phone all rooms at random (including ours) to locate the driver. (They should be aware which car is whose and they should advise their guests on the suitable parking spots)

Upon arrival we noticed that our room had no wifi available, the receptionist allocated us to another room but after two nights demanded we move back (as they told they forgot of some other booking due) claiming that the internet problem was resolved (which was not true). There were no maps of Tbilisi available for the guests from the reception.

Another major issue was the breakfest. Poor is an understatement. Very little choice, old bread, no fresh fruits, no juice, milk for coffee available only in small packages.

Room Tip: The higher the better. Beware last step of the stairs on the top floor - it is significantly higher...

We enjoyed our stay at Armazi Palace. The room was huge and had a good bathroom, both of which were very clean. The location is pretty good, a short metro ride into the centre of Tbilisi. Breakfast was adequate, not amazing, but passable. The hotel seems very organised, they gave us a call (in the UK) 24 hours beforehand to check that we were still planning on arriving.
We arrived much earlier than anticipated and, understandably the room was not ready (partly our fault as we had said that we would arrive about 8am rather than 5.30am), however we were not offered anywhere to sit and wait and instead found ourselves out for a long and very early morning walk!! Quite a shame as we were tired from our journey....so try and be as accurate as possible when giving your arrival time. However watching the sunrise over the city made for a nice experience. Apart from that, the staff were really friendly and spoke good English. They arranged a tour to Kazbegi for us, which was amazing - a real highlight of the trip. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to other! Thankyou very much!

The staff were really friendly, hospitable and helpful. The location was great with access to public transport and a few minutes walk to good cafes and restaurants. Despite the fact that the rooms and breakfast were basic,we had great time there and will go there again. The only drawback was not having elevator which was ok for us but not sure for the elderly!overally it was good value.

I booked this hotel because of the good reviews here and was not happy with the choice. We had a late check-in which we said in advance and they were indeed waiting for us but it felt like we were interrupting when we came and it took some time to open the hotel. The location was not very good and the room smelled like smoke and was quite basic. I haven't tried breakfast so I'm not sure about that.

The staff are very helpful and the metro is only a few minutes walk. The breakfast was basic but enough to satisfy (although a lot of meat products were included.) It is quite close to the impressive new Church and I like the older buildings in the surrounding area.

We recently stayed for a week at the Armazi Palace while on a short holiday in Tbilisi. It is located across the river from the main part of "the old town" but it is just a short walk down hill and across the bridge to get to the old town. We felt completely safe coming back to the room each night, so no problems there.

The room was clean and quiet, plenty of hot water for showers and the breakfast was filling.

The staff at the front desk were always friendly and helpful with questions and advice as necessary.
