Beaumonde Hotel (please do not mix it with Beaumonde Garden hotel which is another hotel with same chain, but at different location) is a very nice place to stay in Tbilisi. Following are key features of this hotel;

1. Wifi reception is good,
2 located near Freedom square and old town.
3 Near Rustaveli Avenue and you can get lot of restaurants and shops nearby.
4 Neat and clean,
5 very friendly staff,
6 Good variety of food,
7 good facilities in room,
8 Rooms are spacious.
9 Inside very good decoration in sitting areas at each floor,

Overall its nice hotel to stay.

Room Tip: Despite all the goods in this hotel, few things you have to keep in mind before making a reservation...

Up a steep hill from Rustavelli avenue, it is very central to art museums, Freedom square, and easy walks to the river with many shops and restaurants. This is a small quiet place that welcomes guests as friends. Clean, spacious rooms. Internet is available, although there are times it falters for a while; downtime is not too long. Breakfast is well-prepared, as are other meals if you reserve them. A nice glass of Georgian wine is available in the evening. Comfortable public spaces (library on one landing, other relaxing spaces in other areas) are in this nice old building with a wonderful wooden staircase up to the many levels above. (Request a lower level room if stairs are a problem!) Eclectic art is abundant. The room spaces usually have plentiful seating, possibly a terrace, and comfortable clean beds. Furniture is not new, but it is also not too tired. The many landings upstairs invite you for quiet reading or to gaze from the rooftop across the city.
Taxi service, and most other needs, are quickly arranged by the Front Desk staff. English and other languages are offered with fluency; and other guests are from many nations. Guests aren't youth hostel types (also in the area), but are often couples and serious travelers who seek a quiet non-branded comfort. It isn't luxury, but prices are very reasonable and service is good. My two stays were each of at least a week during fall and spring seasons. Yes ... I would return!

Room Tip: Lower floor if you don't climb stairs well. Request a room with a view, or room with additional...

Its a five storey villa turned into a hotel ,which means rooms varry in size and layout ,rather far from the centre on top of a hill with no easy public transport access . The only viable way to commute is with taxi which costs around 8 lari and takes about 15 ~20 minutes to Downtown . There isn't any shop orpoint of interest within walking distance from the hotel .

Our room was rather small , the shower drain leaked hence the water overflow on the floor of bathroom and the sheets were to small to cover the mattress properly .
We did see other rooms which were spacious , at least twice as big as ours .

Breakfast was basic so was the gym , there is a fee associated to use the indoor pool/sulphur bath and you would have to inform them a few hours in advance .

The hotel's surrounding garden is beautiful , the staff were very helpful and went out of their ways to render assistance with restaurant reservations , giving recommendations and arranging transportation .

We chose Beaumonde Hotel for our 2 day trip to Georgia mainly because of affordable pricing and great reviews on Tripadvisor.
This is a family held B&B more, than a hotel, which is fine if you're not looking for a five star hotel amenities. We were more into local mood during our stay, so we really loved this place.
We checked in via email, and asked for airport pick up, and that's the only time we had a bad experience, because the driver failed to meet us. No problem, we took a taxi, told the driver the address and found the place with no problems.
The check up was fast and easy. Initially they placed us in a room outside the main building itself. We didn't like it much, but we were so tired, we didn't really care. In a couple of hours, they told us there is a free room in the main building, so they moved us in. The rooms in the main building are much more comfortable, and nicer. We had a shared balcony, that we took advantage of in the evenings. When they found out we didn't manage to get down for breakfast (we fell asleep after a nights' trip), they immediately organized a small breakfast for us, even though it was long past breakfast time. Really nice of them. I read some comments complaining about lack of lifts, and people having to carry their bags upstairs. We didn't have any problem with this, because the staff was super-supportive, and helped us out with the bags. Maybe you just have to ask them for help. They also helped us arrange for a taxi service very early in the morning to catch up our flight home.
I'm surprised to read some reviews where people complain about the location. It's in a minutes' walk from Rustaveli avenue, which is considered one of the nicest streets in Tbilisi. You can take a taxi (they are very cheap in Tbilisi) to get to the more touristic areas of the city.

This B&B can be nice for family rest. It`s situated far from the city center so the owners didn`t bother about price of space so they made rooms really big (with terraces, spacious bathrooms etc.). This place also has friendly stuff. And if you travel by car – it may be your choice, `cause you won`t care about distances.

But if you are used to multinational hotel networks (like I am), I must warn you, that it`s not your place: the breakfast has tiny selection of food; without a car it`s not really convenient (all these troubles with taxi); the bathrooms are badly equipped.

So, this one is good for the family trips by car, when you need really big rooms and have good mobility, in other case you may consider some brand-hotels at the city center.

This hotel is a converted, large, private house on five floors. The accommodation is relatively spacious but simple.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and a simple breakfast is offered each day from 8 to 11am - the lateness of this is to cater for guests who fly into Tbilisi on the several flights that arrive in the early hours of the morning.

Like other reviewers, we experienced times when no hot water was available - despite reception's assurance that there ought to be supplies or advice to "wait ten minutes" and try again. The towels in the toilet/shower room were very thin and, consequently, ineffective.

There could be quite a lot of noise in surrounding streets late at night, even though it is primarily a residential area.

The hotel is situated near the top of a steep street, several hundred meters above the main street of the city. This street would be totally unsuitable for anyone in a wheelchair or who has difficulty walking. The same applies to the many stairs in the hotel - there is no lift and it was a struggle to get baggage up and down from the room.

In May 2013, a room cost the equivalent of 85 US dollars. I am unable to say how this compared with other hotels in Tbilisi but it struck me as quite expensive for the standard of room provided. That said, it served its purpose. I suspect it is unlikely that I will return to Tbilisi but, if I did, I think I would probably find an alternative.

Taxis are cheap in the city but make sure you take one of the hotel cards with you, to show drivers as they do not seem to recognize the hotel's name. Sometimes the card doesn't even help. And take care, because there are three streets in the city with the same name. A taxi from the hotel to airport should cost 30 GEL.

We stayed for three nights at Beaumonde and there is no doubt that the location and the building itself is great. We stayed in a big room and it was spacious, and the whole place has character. They gave us water on arrival and the staff were quite friendly. Wifi worked great. However the hot water didn't really work / was sporadic at best, and our room wasn't made up during our stay there. Maybe thats the Tbilisi way? As others mentioned breakfast is average and probably shouldn't be a factor in your decision to stay there.
