Location is the main advantage of this hotel that otherwise is comfortable, affordable and run by friendly staff. Breakfast is very nice and served in the bar at minus one. Only a brief walk will take you to all the things you may wish to visit in the historical centre (churches, baths, cable car, ...)

We had been 4 nights in this nice hotel in the heart of old Tbilisi. The hotel is very well located in Old Tbilisi, a walking distance from all main attractions. It is well kept and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff is polite and very helpful. We recommend this hotel and we shall come back.

Room Tip: The rooms in 4th floor(401 and 402) are a bit more expensive but much more spacious.

I have been in this hotel, it is very nice place and clean. The stuff is very lovely and nice, it is not far from downtown and you can have a great walk at evenings, there is not very much place for parking, but you will find some good food places around this hotel. Recommended!!!

Room Tip: You must get to the top floor.

If this hotel had pool or sauna, and more important, parking space I would give it 5 stars. Right in the middle of old Tbilisi, perfect for walking trip to wherever you want to go sightseeing in Tbilisi, hotel is located almost secretly at small square. To help you orientate, I would point outh there are two Sharden lodging, one being HOTEL SHARDEN, other HOTEL VILLA SHARDEN. I don't know if they are under same management, but if you search on Hotel Sharden on Google maps, it will give you wrong address. Look for Jerusalim square at Jerusalimi street. Hotel is at corner of this square and this is where you can park your car, and that is the bad part. Last time I was there and left my rental, I found it badly damaged and scratched in the morning since this square is in fact only parking spot near hotel, and very heavy in traffic. So, if you are going with car, I wouldn't recommend it. On the other hand, hotel is rather small, but nice, excellent local food for breakfast ( Tea there is a MUST), Rooms are OK, and price is reasonable. Excellent and very helpful staff. I can only say, go, visit Georgia, visit Tbilisi, fly in, take a cab and stay at this nice hotel and walk around. You will need to walk a lot to loose all those extra weight you will gain from marvelous food you are going to eat there..!!!

There's no such thing as "non smoking" in this hotel. The smoke from other rooms came into ours through the bathroom. The construction is such that any noise in the hallway echoes throughout, and it will easily wake you up. That said, if its low season, it a great location and we can't complain about anything. But we probably wouldn't stay here again.

It seems this is the hotel of choice for tour groups coming to Tbilisi, because each morning at 4:30, the group who had arrived on the Turkish Airlines flight which arrives at 3:30 would arrive at the hotel, the marble entry all announcing the arrival. But the hotel is in a great location in the Tbilisi Old Town. Located on Jerusalem Square, behind the ruins of Jerusalem church(s), a very easy walk to the center of Tbilisi, and across the street from the restaurant district, this hotel has everything you would require for a modest, centrally located hotel. By the way., don't ask for a map there. Go the the main street, turn left, go to Freedom Square, then north towrd the flea market to the museum across from the Parliament, to the information counter. All the FREE maps of Georgia you could want. To include trekking maps in the national parks. Don't miss te gold exhibit while there.

Room Tip: Try to get an upper floor. We stayed on the ground floor with the windows to the street, and it was...

We have spent 2 nights in this hotel. The hotel is very close to all the nice bars and restaurants, in the heart of the old city. Very nice and helpful staff, rooms are nice, comfortable, not a luxurious hotel but very comfy. There is a parking very close to the hotel. Breakfast was nice and included in the price, not a huge selection but very tatsty. Within a distance walk to the Freedom square.

Room Tip: Ask for one Twin bed, otherwise you will end up with two separate beds pooled together which is very...
