We walked a long this for a bit due to the reviews on trip advisor.
The water was really muddy looking and the sides of the banks were just overgrown with weeds and bushes.
Didn't enjoy the experience and would miss it out if went again. Much nicer places to look at in Seoul than this river!

I happened upon this stream completely by surprise. A relaxing stroll that can drop you off at some interesting places. The bridges that cross it are neat to look at as well. If I had more time I would have dipped my feet in the water and enjoyed some of the music from one of the street musicians playing under nearly every overpass. I also really liked the untrimmed grass and foliage which gives you just a tiny bit of nature in the heart of the city.

I went on a day time and start at the start of Cheonggyecheon which is near to Gwanghwamun Square. It was a lovely walk with view of the stream, fishes, wind and greeneries. There are a total of 22 bridges if you walk all the way to the end. I walked until Samilgyo (bridge) and went up the stairs and continue my journey to Insadong.

if you want to enjoy night sightseeing, try to visit this place..
it's free and you can sit relax in the side of the river. you can play water by dipping your feet, but must be careful.
there are also a lot street artists in here whom entertain all the visitors. it's nice to see Seoul and all high building around here. try to walk along the river, you'll see tons of beautiful lamps.
