Happily found and reached this restaurant rich in history but snubbed by the lady who appeared to be the senior or boss.

Enjoyed the side dishes here and loved the plum drink but wished service to non-Korean speaking guests could be more friendly.

Not easiest place to find (in basement of a shopping complex) but worth looking for. Very simple but weill prepared and tasty bibimbap (traditional cold but also hot if you like) and Korean panckaes (kimchi one was delicious). All the ingredients are super fresh; Very Friendly service despite our speaking absolutely no Korean. Price remains very affordable though a two notches above street food. Defintiely recommend if you are near Insa-dong or north of center.

One of the most popular bibimbap places in insadong. It's located in the basement of a building but its very easy to find (just ask one of the friendly tourist information help). Everyone knows gogung. It has an array of different bibimbap and comes with an amazing number of side dishes. They also give you a plum drink afterwards. One bibimbap is enough to make a grown person 110% full.

If you are walking in the Insa Dong area, find your way to this restaurant. The line is long, the food good and the menu large. If you haven't had Bimbimbab before, give it a try. It is a mixture of 5 -6 ingredients set on top of a heap of rice with a fried egg in the middle. A spicy sauce is provided on the side with soy sauce. Mix everything together and enjoy.

Great, authentic bibimbap. Not too spicy and just the right taste. Awesome atmosphere. The service was awesome. The waitresses spoke fluent chinese which was convenient. The variety of side dishes available was great. They also served this awesome plum tea at the end of your meal. I highly recommend this restaurant!
