book the apartment with 3 bedrooms. When we reach, we are given the room at the fifth floor. No lift only stairs. Worst is the top floor is very humid with only 1 air con in the living room and 1 in one of the 3 bedrooms. The other 2 bedrooms doesnt come with aircon and with the sun setting, the heat is unbearable. Furthermore the aircon isnt strong enough to cool down the whole apartment. Toilets are decent if your expectations is not very high. When we request the person in charge to come, did not show up and only back with an answer, take it or leave it. Lucky we managed to get another decent and accessible guesthouse down the street. Would not recommend this place as other guesthouse are offering similar prices with better services.

Had a wonderful 3 week stay here in February. Stayed for 1 week in a 1 bed apartment by myself, then 2 weeks with my sister in a 2 bed apartment. Great facilities, self-catering (own kitchen), microwave, washing machine, great bathrooms, TV. Fantastic location, 5 minute walk from Myeong-Dong shopping district and less than that to the nearest Metro station.

Lovely staff, even though I hardly speak a word of Korean, they were very chatty. February is very cold in Korea, so I would maybe recommend going more towards Spring (I've heard Summer can be very hot and humid!).

The beautiful Mount Namsan is also a 10 minute walk from the apartments, incredible views from up top!

Room Tip: Top floor single rooms can get very hot (not a problem in winter), and are attic rooms so have a low...

I planned to stay at Seoul Tower for two nights while vacationing in June 2014 and ended up staying for four. It's only a 5 minute walk from the center of Myeong-dong and the subway station. It's on a hill so it's a bit of a hike up but well worth it for the location/value. When I made the reservation they only had a basement apartment ($40USD) so I was a bit hesitant... but turned out to be great. It was recently remodeled, had a large western shower, and larger than the other rooms at a lower cost. The last night I stayed in a room on the 2nd floor. It was smaller, had a European style shower and cost $5 more. Both rooms were clean, had TV/AC and felt secure. These rooms are not fancy and relatively small. But if you are just looking for somewhere to crash and keep your things while you explore Seoul I'd highly recommend it.

Room Tip: In my opinion the basement room was a great value.

I stayed at this guesthouse with my mom and aunt in april 8 (2014)

The best thing about this guesthouse is the staff and the owner, everyone is REALLY kind and helpful. They can speak chinese, english and korean. The rooms are very clean and you have everything you need. The location is also good, you walk down the stairs and you come to a street full of restuarants and small shops. If you walk a bit more you will se myeongdong subway EXIT 3. To get to Myeongdong main shopping street just cross the street! (Tip: Go underground and find EXIT 7)

We really did enjoyed our stay at this guesthouse. Will we be back again? YES!

Thanks alot to the owner and its staff! We are happy

The owner, Mr. Ko, his wife, and his staff are all friendly and nice to the guests. We ordered a double room, but was upgraded to a bigger room for free. The room was well-equipped with household utilities. We even use the washing machine in the balcony as the washing powder is provided. You can see the caring service when you find the umbrellas in the wardrobe next to the door. On our last day, when we had an appointment with Mr. Ko that we checked out at 7am so that he will send us to the Myeong-dong subway, we got up late as we were tired after the 5-day journey. Mr. Ko's wife then drove us to the the Seoul Station which is farther away for us to catch the train. Thus, the service of this ville is really unquestionable. The only downside is the steps that we have to climb to the ville after a day's trip. But the steps are not as long as stated by some others and are manageable to both my wife and me.

Stayed in Seoul Tower Ville (STV) for 3 nights. STV is located on a hill near to Myeongdong. The owner, Mr Ko, is friendly and speaks fluent Mandarin. He will provide free shuttle service from Sejong Hotel or the nearby Myeongdong or Seoul stations.

Room
Room is clean as there is daily housekeeping. There is a TV, washing machine, stove, microwave oven, hot/cold water dispenser and fridge. Cutlery and some basic toiletries like toothbrush and toothpaste are provided. Towels are also changed daily.

Location
Walking down a steep staircase of about 50 steps will get you to Myeongdong in about 3-5 minutes. Climbing up the stairs is a good workout due to the steepness. STV is also near to Namsan park where the cable car and Seoul Tower is. Most taxi drivers do not know this place so do get a card from Mr Ko to assist the driver.
