We stayed in this hotel for 4 night with my siblings and we enjoyed staying here because the staff were helpful with direction and the location was close to subway, bus station and restaurants. We are planning to go back next year and stay there again.

My wife and I travel to South Korea last year and was looking for a modest hotel, and a friend recommended Plex. The entire staff was great and the organization, maintenance and services render at the hotel was very good. The city centre as close by and attractions and nite life were all near by which made our two weeks stay wonderful.

Room Tip: 24/7 services, internet access excellent, room are large and comfortable, quiet, A/C has less noise.

My husband and I were looking to take a mini vacation, and wanted to go to Lotte world.N.Seoul tower etc etc. well this Hotel was not only perfect, but well maintained, cleaned daily, the staff was very friendly and helpful with directions, and the free snacks were a plus.
We were able to watch movies in English and just enjoy the quiet.
To say there are a lot of things to do in the area would be an understatement.
Shopping, food, karaoke, bars, MORE FOOD, corner stores, and Late night Thai massages (Boran) That we especially enjoyed.
This Hotel is a very short walking distance from the subway, and one stop from Lotte world. Everything you love about seoul was just a subway ride, bus, or taxi away.
We had a great time, and would stay again.

I was as an individual traveller and was at plex for almost three weeks. The hotel was in a good location and close to metro line. the staff speaks good english. they were very helpful with even nitty gritties like getting my mobile phone battery charged, arrabnging for a trip to Jeju and the like.Charlie's help was a great comfort esp at a place where it is difficult to get around with english.Of course people call it a love motel, however as far as I was concerned,it was all inobstrusive.Internet in the room was free.that was an added attraction.

We loved our stay at the Plex hotel. It's really nice and comfortable, the bed was really comfortable and large (which is important when you have a one-year-old sleeping with you). The staff speaks great English and is very helpful - they go out of their way to help you. They have a fridge with free water, juice, and snacks for the guests, too, which rocks.

We can see how the hotel would be a love hotel, but really only in that it is made in a way that would be romantic. We DID hear noises from the other room on the first night, but that was one night out of 5, so I wouldn't say that that it the reason - that could happen anywhere.

My only reason for not giving it 5* is because it's about a half hour subway right from all the tourist attractions - other than that, it's marvelous!

Room Tip: There's an elevator, so any room is good.

This hotel was very clean and pleasant to stay at. I'm still not sure if this was actually a love hotel out not because while there I saw some families with kids and a couple groups of people staying together. The double sized room we stayed in at first was smallish but quite comfortable so we had no complaints. After our first day however, the hotel gave us a free upgrade to a larger room which was quite a bit larger and had a larger window. The only down side was that in some rooms the free wireless internet is a bit spotty, but it's not a terrible problem because each room we stayed in also had a desktop media computer hooked up to the internet (fyi, there's a key on the lower right of the keyboard that lets you type in English and a button on the TV remote that lets you show your computer screen wirelessly on the rather large flatscreen tv). Overall, the service was great and everyone was very helpful. If you get a chance to stop at the front desk for a bit, you'll probably meet Charlie. He's an older gentleman who almost always seems to be there. His English is excellent and he's always happy to give directions and write out locations in Korean for you to show people if you need extra help while navigating around Seoul. All the staff are helpful of course, but Charlie is a gem. :)

Room Tip: If wireless internet is important to you I'd suggest trying to get a room that's closer to t...

This hotel (Some may take it as a love motel) was very clean and easy to find. The staff seems to be there 24/7. So if you have any questions, they are glad to help. We came in early before our check in and they were happy to hold our luggage and give us a map around the area and mark some places we could go visit while they got our room ready. Though we stayed only one night. It was a nice stay. The next street over is filled with tons of restaurants and shops. But beware if you are a girl traveling alone. We had a guy try to follow us back into our hotel room while we where there. Overall, it was a good stay.
