“Excellent hotel”
Reviewed 30 October 2013

This is a very large hotel and is part of the COEX convention center. However, the place is run beautifully. All the staff are very courteous and efficient. The room (2 doubles) was on the small side but this is a big city. The beds were great, the bathroom was large, the WiFi worked really well. The rooms were cleaned promptly and well. I highly recommend the breakfast buffet which was truly wonderful. It had everything from standard Western fare to kimchi and noodles. The location of the hotel isn't optimal for sightseeing (although there is a beautiful temple right across the way) but it's a 10 min walk to the nearest subway station (the subway in Seoul is easy to use, clean, safe and runs like clockwork).
One last comment about the fitness facility at the hotel. Huge Olympic-sized swimming pool. But what's even better - they provide free shoes, socks, and gym clothing in case you forgot to bring your own! Just use whatever you need and then leave them behind.
Great place.

Nice and confortable hotel, with great views from the rooms. Good service, good breakfast.

The rooms are too hot for my taste, and you should use the air-con every single minute, so you have some noise from that.

Otherwise, excelent place to be on Seul.

Excellent staff, excellent service, spacious rooms and plenty of amenities. Beware that both Gimpo and Incheon are at considerable distance. With Korean limousine bus it will take 1.30 hours minimum for Incheon and 1 hour for Gimpo. That is if you are lucky as traffic can add 30min minimum.

I was traveling with a tour group and this was the last hotel we stayed in. The hotel is in the Gangnam area in Seoul. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed both nights. The lobby is very large and the staff was excellent, everyone was friendly, nice and spoke English. After you check in, a staff member will take your luggage and escort you to your room. The breakfast buffet was the best on our tour. The food was very good and the desserts were amazing. Shopping centers (Lotto & Hyundai Dept store) nearby. Very busy area and construction going on so crossing the street you had to be careful but there are guys (I'm guessing city workers) to assist you across the street.

I stayed at this place for 2 nights and was incredibly impressed with the level of service offered. I had forgotten my phone in the taxi and the duty manager went out of his way to help me get it back the next morning. Also, hotel has one of the best fitness facilities I have seen. Sky lounge is a bit pricey but a good place to sit down and have a drink with a view. Overall, highly recommend this place and will definitely return

I stayed for a week at this hotel and it was a good experience. The check in was ok, can be much faster. The rooms are a bit dated, but clean and loaded with amenities. They are spacious. The breakfast and the food is of high quality. There is also a very good variety for breakfast. Check out was efficient.

As the title states, this is a high quality (wonder how much better the Grand Intercontinental is?), sleek business hotel which is quite expensive. This time and the last time I was here, I was put up by conference organizers. Not sure I would stay if I had to pay, since I spend so little time in the room anyway. It is extremely convenient to Coex, however, which is a draw.

But everything is clean and modern and the restaurants are outrageously overpriced (more on that later)!
