“Top pizza in Seoul”
Reviewed 8 June 2014

This has got to be the best pizza I had while living in Korea. Excellent balance of sauce and cheese, well seasoned, and a robust flavor of the dough. Can stand on its own against good New York style pizza in the US (a rare thing in Korea).

Very expensive though, not a great value.

Staff was very good and the owner was especially friendly.

“Okay”
Reviewed 27 April 2014

The food was quite good. The overall experience though lacked the real buzzing atmosphere of Gangnam.

“Overpriced bland pizza, not NYC”
Reviewed 23 April 2014

First of all, this is not even close to a good New York City pie. I travel the world to try many different pizza places.

I ordered it and the crust was burnt, you couldn't even fold it, it just cracked. The crust had no life to it. The sauce had no robustness. The toppings were nice....

I gave it two stars because for Asia it is not bad, at least the sauce wasn't sweet and there wasn't corn or mayonnaise on it. 30,000 KRW for a medium sized pizza? Not worth it.

“Real Pizza in Seoul”
Reviewed 8 April 2014

I was very happy to find this pizza in Seoul. They have a deck oven and the crust is crisp. They use Alta Cucina a very high quality California canned tomato and get their flour from the states.
Even using great tomatoes their sauce was a bit bland. The cheese was fine but did not have a ton of flavor. From what I have researched I think that this is probably the best pizza that you will find in Seoul. Is it Di Fara's, or Joe's on Carmine-No but I still really enjoyed it. The crust gets a bit leathery and is not as crisp after it sits for 10 min so do not get this pizza to go.

“Very good pizza in a surprising place”
Reviewed 7 April 2014

Being one of only two restaurants in TripAdvisor Top 100 in Seoul south of the river, we chose the Brick Oven New York pizza despite the fact that I prefer local food when visiting a foreign country. It was a great choice. It was a long time since I had a pizza this good. The oven is not actually a brick oven, it is a normal - probably electric - one. We had the New Yorker party sized pizza (supposedly for 4-5 people) for just the 2 of us. We finished it, but were quite full. The only downside is the price - 48,000 ₩ is quite a lot for 2 people... the "couples" sized pizza was 32,000 ₩. Then again, it is a highly rated restaurant and the foot is really good.
