So I stumbled upon this new restaurant called Brew 3.14 and boy did I find my new home away from home. A small but cozy bar with GREAT beer (it's from Craftworks) and amazing pizza!! I heard the pizza was "good" but how GOOD can "good" be, right? Well, for those of you who are used to the unique yet amazing pizzas back in the States will not be disappointed. A simple meat pizza was so just rightly sweet and salty. A mind you, I wrote SIMPLE. I would say simple is the name of the game with this place. Even the menu is simple which takes away all the annoying decision making of what should i order.
Anyhoo, for those who are visiting Seoul, I highly recommend this place if you are feeling nostalgic for some good ole beer and great pizza. Nothing short of perfection :)

The Wife stumbled onto a magazine article reviewing this bar while we were in Seoul. We are always on the look out for good calzone and Bar 3.14π did not disappoint. We split both the meat and meatless calzones and really enjoyed both as well as the Craftworks Namsan and Geumgang beer. The second time we went we had the supreme pizza, which we both liked as much as the calzone. Next time, will have to try the quiche.

On both trips, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The owner was on-site during our second meal and took the time to visit with us for a while.

For what is it is worth, this was the only restaurant we went to a second time while we were in Seoul, it was that good.

This bar deserves to do well. Fantastic pizza and a selection of fab beers and ales. Really welcome break from the exhausting streets of seoul. French manager is lovely too :)

Stopped by for good pizza with bier and wasn't disappointed. Friendly owners and chef combined with western style thin crust pizza made for a great night in Insadong.

After a full day of sightseeing in Seoul, we were delighted to find Brew 3.14π in Insadong (https://www.facebook.com/brew314). It is a friendly oasis in the neighborhood and a short walk from Fraser Suites apartments.

The staff are friendly and attentive. If Korean isn't a language in your portfolio - no problem. The chef and staff both spoke English and an English menu is available.

As the name implies - the speciality here is pies. Both Calzone and Pizza are available. We ate the ground meat pizza which was perfect for two people. The special was a seafood pizza. We had fish at the Seafood Market for lunch so we opted for meat . The bar has cocktails as well as locally brewed beer. The Namsan Pilsner was very good. Prices for both are reasonable. Closed on Monday and open until midnight.

They also have Korean fried chicken which I hope to experience before we leave for home in the USA.

Brew 3.14π made our list of recommended spots in Seoul. If you tire of Korean cuisine during your visit - give this spot a try. We loved it.
