Safeguide's review is spot on. This place had dirty sheets. My bed was smelly, covered in hair, and stained on the pillow, and the staff - namely, the girl at the front desk - didn't care. I would give this place one star but the male staff were nice and helpful, so I've bumped it up for their kindness.
KG's single rooms are super tiny - smaller than most college dorms - and while my night there was fairly quiet, the walls are super thin and broadcasted the sounds of people closing their doors and walking around in the hallway. The room was also cold, and the little blanket they provided didn't help matters.
Its two redeeming qualities were the nice male staff and its location, which actually was fairly easy to find, given the website directions. The downstairs kitchen area was cute but again, freezing.
I would say that you get what you pay for because I usually stay at the Imperial Palace in Gangnam, but Is@k Guest House in Itaewon and Hostel the New Day in Busan were cheaper and a million times better. This is the worst I've experienced in Korea.More
