I have stayed in this hotel for nine night it was terrible and give me avery bad impression about korean staff in reception who they were helpless and no one of my questioners were answered by them so many times asked them for call a taxi and they said no one can come ( what Avery bad thing )
Specially last day when I checked out I have asked for airport taxi and stayed over half hour then I get out of the hotel to ask for taxi my self on the front street .
Room was average ( small . Well cleaned . Calm . Very good wifi . Only 4 english speaking news tv channels no Arabic among them ) nothing in the mini bar except 2 complementary water bottles .
No room service . No ironing board and machine . I can say nothing interesting for staying here expect for those who traveling for a business or just want to stay in this a far way hotel from the attraction in seoul.
Breakfast restaurant was Avery basic only four to seven choices in a banquet hall .
Nice store behind a wonderful Starbucks coffee shop about 5 minutes walking and paris baguette bakery shop and dunkin donut an some other just go out of hotel you will live well here . No gym or swimming pool even if indoor pool .
When I asked to use business center for printing my flight tickets and check in online they said printer down how it comes that was totally frustrating .
May I found some kind of discriminating here maybe but it was a very very bad hotel stay ever in my life in this hotel .
I hope that they improve them selves to better service in soon future .

Although this hotel opened last year, it is still unfinished. The lobby area is currently under construction to accommodate finishing work for the coffee shop and restaurant. There is supposed to be a cafe/bar on the top of the hotel as well, but it is incomplete. You can walk around and there is a nice view, but the electrical wiring is unfinished and there are no tables, chairs nor bar/cafe yet. Once all the construction and finishing touches are completed, this will be a nice hotel. Until then, it remains a work in progress.

If possible, avoid the rooms that are adjacent to the elevators. We were given a room near the elevator that had no windows so it was a bit dark. There are no irons or ironing boards in the room, but we called the front desk and they had one sent up in a matter of minutes. There are a few small restaurants and a 24 hour convenience store behind the hotel and more within a 10 minute walk of the hotel.

Room Tip: On each floor there are two or three rooms near the elevators with no windows. My wife thought they...

My husband and I visited Seoul for a family wedding. We picked the Golden Seoul Hotel because it was priced very well and close to where our family lives in the city. The location is convenient to both Yeomchang and Sinmokdong subway stations so traveling throughout the city is easy and cheap. USE THE SUBWAY! Cabs are cheap if you're going a short distance, but because Seoul is huge, going to some of the major tourist destinations can be expensive. One tip - the hotel has cards on the counter that say "I'm going ....." in Korean, and they can write down your destination for you. Much easier than trying to communicate with the cab drivers in English.

The décor is very nice and the interiors better than I expected for the price. It would be a great hotel for anyone who wouldn't be looking for a lot of amenities or spending a large amount of time in their room. There is a convenience store right across the street that is open late so getting snacks, breakfast or coffee is very easy.

The downsides: although the staff spoke pretty good English, they didn't give a lot of detail about the destinations we were inquiring about. Multiple times we asked about a sight in the city, only to get there and realize that it didn't open for several hour or it was closed on that particular day of the week. That was incredibly frustrating.

The room was fairly small but the view of the city was beautiful. Seoul gets very humid in the late Spring and early Summer. We couldn't get the AC in our room to work correctly only to be told by staff that it doesn't work at all. They did bring a fan but it didn't do much to help cool our top floor room cool down in the afternoon.

Overall, I'd stay here again due to the price and basic essentials available. After spending thousands for flights, saving a bit on the hotel was necessary.

Stayed 2 nights, booked under a package tour. Room size is average, come with a toilet with bathtub and usual items, including shampoo, soap, bar fridge, shower. The baby cot is huge and nice with Minnie theme bedsheet and blanket, best baby cot seen at hotel. Need to open the window for a bit of air as the heater is on and can be quite stuffy.
Breakfast is usual fare at Ocean cafe, and quite a lot of choices including local Korean food, western style. A lot of seats at the Ocean cafe. Didn't try the swimming pool so can't comment. Lift need to insert the room card for security access.
Nothing much nearby, not much shops and no convenience store. Not near the main shopping area too.

Very convenient to access. Three ways to the Incheon Airport: About 60,000 won by taxi about 40 minutes, 9,000 won or 15,000 won by airport limousine (NO.6008 for 9,000 from Yeomchang gas station or something for about 1hour, NO.6018 for 15,000 from Niagara Hotel for about 45 minutes), about 3,750 by subway for about 1 hour. (Take airport line first and drop at Gimpo Airport station, then transfer to line 9, get off at Yeomchang station, get out from exit 2, about 2 minutes' walk, it's by your left hand side)
Nice river view from room, and you can climb up to the top floor "sky garden" for a view. Room is well equipped with amenities like shampoo, shower gel, shower cap, comb etc. (but no teethbrush and teethpaste as all Korean hotels do) and sufficient sockets, no need to take adaptor with you as well. Though room is not spacious, they have very soft pillows and bed. By the way, they don't have fitness club or swimming pool.
Their staff at the front desk were very helpful and could speak good English. I tried to get extra quilt by phonecall, and their operator greeted me with English first rather than Korean that made me suprisingly glad.
Lots of Korean restaurants nearby (A Korean barbecue restaurant opposite Niagara Hotel was really delicious) and a convenient store is located at the back gate.
The only thing I don't like is their breakfast. Less choices, very basic, very Asian style.

The rooms: are clean and just big enough. And the rooms are bright. I had a room towards the river. Through the big windows you can see the actual Seoul.
The location:
Because you're far from the city you have to take a taxi or the subway which takes about half an hour to arrive e.g. at the palace ot in the old town area.
The breakfast is very much asian style, but scrambled eggs and sausage are also available.
What you don't have is a bar...you can have a coffee in the lobby but there's no possibility to drink a beer

Room Tip: Rooms towards the river (=front side) have a nice view

This tourist type hotel, for me is 3,5 star hotel, not 4 stars, quiet good, clean but not in the middle of seoul city, near gimpo airporty. The room is fuctional, not big size either small size just enough. The aminity is complete. But the breakfast is too standart, if you compare with some hotel in south east asia, hongkong and china. If you travel by your self, I suggest to take other hotel more near to city. From here to Dangdoemun is about 20 minutes in night time. To metro waqlk about 10 minutes.

Room Tip: Ask for room facing river, this is better than facing other building.
