as always for us, is all about the location.. Rooms are ok but not the rooms. Upgrade worked and thanks to manager! was much better and enjoyable after the hard start we had. Room facing the street was ok, I think the higher the better, so you have less noise from the street

Dear Zuikis,

Thank you very much for your kind review , regarding the lower floors we did our best with double glass but still Cairo a bit noisy , you are right the higher floors with also double glass windows should be very fine

Looking forward to welcoming you again in our hotel

The hotel is located in zamalek, around the hotel there are plenty of restaurants and bars around. I was in a break so I decided to have a nile view room. The room was clean and nice, except that the balcony was not cleaned. The receptionists where friendly and I have no concerns about them. Breakfast was not that good, although they have good bakeries. The worst thing for me was the room service, they don't respect the don't disturb sign. Plus I called the restaurant in order to get in room lunch, they were not that professional and some how rude. Food is not that good, and it is some how expensive compared to the quality of it. Soft drinks are also weirdly expensive.

The overall experience is average.

Room Tip: Avoid dealing with the room services. If you need water or soft drinks buy it from the kiosk next to the hotel

Dear Timo,

We thank you for your comments about our staff and hotel, and would like to assure our guests that our rooms are quiet offering high standards of comfort and full updated also covered with free WIFI

regarding the balcony we are aware of the fact that Cairo is very dusty and to avoid this we added outside glass for three floors to protect the balcony and to be always fresh for you when you stay

We will for sure take action about the room service order taking process but the DND sign what do you expect from them we do not understand if you called them by phone to come with an order.

Regarding our breakfast we do offer a full breakfast buffet including 4 different hot items from sausages to vegetables, meatloaf, scrambled egg, boiled egg, foul, ..etc 4 different kind of cheeses, yoghurt , salads , croissant, choco croissant, 6 different kinds of bread , JAM , butter, Omelette station pancake station I must say we have seen many buffet for breakfast in four and five stars hotels in Egypt in in Europe and it is higher in standards and always fresh

hotel prices can not be compared with street prices of course due to tax reasons and the hotel costs

again thank you and looking forward to welcoming you once again
