stayed 4 nights with colleagues, wrong bags delivered to my room, security start arguement with taxi driver in front of customers when was securitys fault for not manning the gate (made us wait for long time). nearly every morning ordered an omlette and he forgot nearly every morning (long wait). Just felt staff lack confidence with english. not a good look. room was nice and clean.

Conrad Cairo is one of the best places to stay in town; well obviously it is a 5 stars hotel… surprisingly not that expensive. We paid 120$ for a double room with water view (on easy click travel), a price relatively low I believe!!

The hotel is elegant and super clean, all the rooms are Nile view but not all of them have a really good view, if you care so much for the view go for the deluxe of executive rooms as they are on higher floors.
The service is exceptional, everyone is very nice, supportive and helpful, check in was very smooth and we were asked when we would like to check out, and got a late check out without paying extra money. Pool and gym activities are included.
The hotel is downtown, kind of half way to everything in Cairo, but there's nothing much around the hotel to be done, just so you know you would be needing a ride to go anywhere. It's only somehow close to Nile City Mall, a nice shopping mall with some diners/cafes and cinemas.

my husband and i stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and we were quite pleased
we went with a tour so i cannot really say too much about the location since we had a bus transporting us around

cairo is a very dirty city and we found this hotel to be very clean ( unfortunately though there is smoke smell in the common aerea since people smoke everywhere )

we went to Le meridien at the piramyds for lunch and it was horrible. Mold stains on the carpet and very dirty.

I would only remain in Cairo for one day unless you want to see a lot of things. we did not enjoy the city or the culture. we felt unsafe and harassed
women do not go by yourself! do not go on a budget for this trip you want to have a very good guide and do not go around exploring strange place on your own.

We spent 1 night at the Conrad Cairo during our trip to Jordan and Egypt in December 2009. Having visited Cairo on another occasion, we spent only 1 night here before our international flight. The Conrad Cairo is more like a 4 star hotel. There was nothing really special about the room. The bed was very comfortable with down bedding and comfortable and plush pillows. The bathroom seemed a little dated and could probably use a light makeover. Being a Diamond member, we checked in at the Executive Lounge where we also enjoyed some drinks and light snacks. Other than that, if you did not tell me that the hotel was a Conrad, it could have easily passed for a Hilton hotel. We have stayed at Conrads in Hong Kong, Tokyo and Bangkok and those were far superior than this one so we were disappointed. Although I think by Cairo standards this is a pretty nice hotel. I just think they could do better.
