Fantastic drive any time of the year through the countryside and date palm plantations. The Red Pyramid of Dahshur and the Bent pyramid are set in the quiet of the Dashur area desert. The first pyramid's ticket allows you to enter and descend and ascend to the burial chamber and is quite exhausting. Drive to the Bent pyramid and just take a leisurely walk around the base.

I visited Dahshur first in 1979 and again in 2001 and 2011, still only a few tourists! Love this location and the you can climb into the pyramid! Highly recommend this stop!

in fact those 4 pyramids are very special to visit... shape, site, almost no one when i visit, very quite and very, very beautiful .....
Giza pyramids or Dhashur pyramids.... for sure i choose the Dhashur ones...
as nobody around, you can really enjoy visting the pyramids without haveing all the time someone asking you a camel or horse trip or ....
here you visit, you enjoy and you can take your time .....
the fact the police guide you all the way around and gives you details of the site, makes you feel like a VIP .....

It was great to know that much of information thank you Hany and Sultana tours team. The Black Pyramid dates from the later reign of Amenemhat III and, although badly eroded, it remains the most imposing monument at the site after the two Sneferu pyramids. The polished granite pyramidion or capstone of the Black Pyramid is on display in the main hall of the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Next to the pyramid was found the partly disturbed tomb of 13th Dynasty king Hor and the undisturbed burial place of Nubhetepti-khered, possibly his daughter.

After visiting Giza, one should not neglect these two beautiful pyramids in Dahshur. Both of great significance in history before the Giza pyramids, they offer visitors lesser of a crowd and grant you more time to marvel at this wonder
