That is very beautiful hotel , I liked really everything ! There is no mistake.... I am very spoiled usually and have seen so many hotels .. this one has everything just super! The location is very perfect for me because its in the same place with the bigest shopping mall in Cairo , which very famous as a meeting point for business and for fun. As for people who wants to see Cairo pyramids.. and so on , I do not think its good because its in the other part of the city , but from the other hand in the old part of the city there is nothing really good to stay in ..

Thank you for your nice comments.

I have to agree about the location however the sites in Cairo are very spread out like the Pyramids, Citadel, Khan el Khalili, Citystars mall, Feluca ride on the Nile they are all in different locations and can be easily reached from the InterContinental by ringroad.

Stayed 2 nights in standard room. Typical Intercont room. Hotel situated in a massive shopping/entertainment centre with easy access to shops. From airport and to city centre fairly easy (given Cairo traffic) but also in its own business area. Only used bar area, which was fine but rest of hotel was rather impersonal. Breakfast selection was fine but majored on western and Arabic with little other choice, somewhat cafeteria style. Overall fine for a business visit which is presumably the purpose of this hotel.

I dont recognise some of the reviews on this site - this hotel is one of the best I have stayed in.

Its a modern hotel finished with an impressive standard of decor. There are plenty of staff on hand and everyone was friendly and helpful when I asked them for anything.( I interacted with drivers, bell boys, reception, concierge, restaurant staff etc).

Check in was done in the car coming from the airport. Checking out was quick and efficient. I stayed for 5 days and also used the meeting room facilities. I didnt encounter any problems or see any rushes with people queuing to check in or out.

Its about 20 mins from the airport which is good - but about 30 mins from the downtown area next to the Nile. However, the hotel is part of a complex with a big mall, restaurants and cinemas. So you could easily not travel out for a few days!

I liked some of the attention to detail, enjoyed staying and fully recommend it to others.

I stayed here for 2 nights with business. I have stayed in a number of places in Cairo and this is by far my favourite to date.
The room was great and even better was the outside bar.

I would recommend it as a place to stay.

We were at a business conference there. Nice hotel, attached to hugh and pricey shopping mall. Rooms are top. Lounges, spacious, nice and large pool and spa area. Staff is friendly.

This hotel is beautiful, fun and WOW! My three daughters loved it! The staff was pleasant, but a bit short. After 12 days in the Middle East, I was used to being treated this way. The security is extremely high and sets a tone to the staff. However, the check in was slow but polite and upgraded us to a four bedroom suite. After sharing two bedrooms on a Nile Cruise, it was welcome for our family.

The pool is wonderful and one of the best I've ever seen. Hard to describe, but very Egyptian and interesting.

The breakfast cart/room service was gorgeous and delicious. We had been having mediocre food on the Nile cruise, glad to have delicious again! The service was fabulous-- doormen, bellman, room service. My husband went into the mall with our teenager, who LOVED the shops and selection. A great location if shopping is the goal.

CLOSE to the airport --very key for an early flight. One of the best hotels I've stayed in ever -and would recommend and go back time and again!
