This is certainly one of my favourite hotels. The ambience is perfect and has plenty of space. The shopping mall in the same complex makes a lot of things very fast and easy. The entire environment, not only the hotel, is clean.

The most significant point however is the service attitude of the staff. "Yes Sir, no problem" - and they do it. We got everything we asked for and more, and what makes a difference is also - a lot of things were included - free internet, lounge access. There was some noise and as a compensation the hotel offered free pressing of shirts. When you add it all up - it is a lot more value for money than going to a less expensive hotel where you pay for every step you do otherwise.

But really the service attitude of staff is one of the best we have seen in the world. Fully five points from us!

Thomas

Nearly 3 years since I last visited - I used to stay here about 4 months each year on business. This time it was a private trip and I was pleasantly surprised that it was just as good, and even better, than it had been before.

Immediately adjacent to the Citystars shopping complex, this hotel has one of the best leisure facilites in Cairo - as well as being a great hotel to conduct business in.

The staff were still every bit as attentive as they had always been and went out of their way to make me feel welcome - even though the days of "platignum" status are long gone!!

There are toooo many excellent people to mention but a special word has to go for Marie De Guzman and her colleague Glaizia who are "stars" in their own right and a credit to their hotel

Recommend this hotel to a friend? - Most certainly!!!

Although there were construction works taking place in the hotel but the whole staff was handling the situation quite well that you hardly feel anything is going on, additionally the services and responds from the staff for all guest requirements were awesome even if it's not within the scope of their work or area. and this is common thing starting from bellboy all the way up till the GM. I really luved it and am coming back there soon.

I was there for a meeting in june. The meeting room and the service that goes with it were of a great quality wich is not always the case in egypt. The service in the lobby is always looking after you but in a good way. For the room in itself, I had a streeview one, even thought the window was fully close, the noise coming from the street was too high and it never stops...
Finally, do not forget to take a shisha in the bar near by the pool, where the prices are relatively fair.
From this hotel, it takes at least owne hour to go to the pyramids

Cairo brings all that you can dream - so rich in history and so magnificent in its existence. The Intercontinental Citystars Cairo just proves that the magnificence endures. What an experience our group enjoyed when we visited Cairo on our biannual company convention this year. This hotel never failed to am aze us with itselegance, first-class service, fantastic restaurants, wonderful shopping mall attached which boasts of being tha largest mall in Egypt and so many more wonderful experiences that made for a great holiday. This hotel made our group of approx 200 persons feel right at home in Africa after travelling approx. 6,025 miles from Trinidad, W.I (sometimes referred as Trinidad & Tobago). Thank you, Intercontinental City Stars for making our stay in Cairo truly magical
