“Another "attraction" neglected”

Gabalaya Park and Aquarium

Why is it that everywhere we visit in Egypt is a disapointment? Most places have the potential to be fantastic sites if only they were improved a little and keep clean and tidy. Like the Aquarium my family and I visited today. The fish displays were boring and the fish tanks extremely dirty. The fish looked like they were sick. We did like the 'cave' surroundings and this was fun for the children, but because it was dirty and neglected, bats have found a home in the artifical caves, so watch out for bat poo droping onto your heads. Best thing about this attraction was the entrance fee - 1 egyptian pound per adult to get in. We wont bother going there again.
