Having stayed at this hostel for a good 5 nights I feel worthy to give an accurate review.
LOCATION: The location is great but as there are many other hostels and cheap hotels located along talaat harb, its not such a big plus factor. Some of the rooms are very noisy so ask for a room in a quieter location.
AMENITIES: The toilets, like the rooms are spartan with no shower curtain so be careful because you might slip.
HYGIENE: The bedlinen is very dirty and seems unchanged (someone else's hair was on my pillow) with dirt marks and some stains. They smell unchanged too.
SERVICE: They seem pleasant enough but behind every smile lies a potential deal or exchange of money. Nothing is for free so remember that. They also supply very wrong information at times and I suspect it is for their own benefit as they also run a travel company (they might try to push tours on you).
ATMOSPHERE: Not a great place to meet people. In fact the entire place has a very dull mood.
SUMMARY: Would not recommend this place at all. For the price, it is expensive compared to other hostels. I got all kinds of weird bites after staying there.
