“Why a theme park here?”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 June 2014

Waste of time having a theme park here. Our guide got us in for free to quickly have a look, and we were out again in 20 mins. Adults don't go, and sorry, taking a trip to Egypt should not include children as to be fair, there is nothing for them to do in places like Cairo and Luxor?
Too much to see that needs explaining, and having your kids complaining about the heat and 'where's the beach! just not worth it, Ha!

“Don't Get Your Hopes Up”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 October 2013

From the perspective of people who have been to American or European theme parks, Dream Park would be considered poor, or maybe even terrible. However, considering Egypt doesn't have that many theme parks anyway, Dream Park's probably the best.

If you're going for a visit, always avoid going on national holidays and weekends, the money you pay for your ticket would be wasted since you will probably not be able to get on any rides due to the very long queues. Also, you wouldn't be able to return your ticket, or resell it to someone else on the gate since security guards stop you.

The park has a lot more diversity offered for little kids than teens/adults. So little kids would definitely have fun, and have a safe day, even though they're parents would only be entertained by their own kids rather than anything else.

Best advice would be, go if you've never been to theme parks before, but remember to avoid weekends and holidays. Don't go if you've been to average parks abroad, they're definitely better.

Ps: Bathrooms are also mostly filthy when it's crowded.

“A nice way to spend a day with children”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 September 2013

It's what you'd expect from your typical theme park; leave somethings to be desired, half the rides are not included in the ticket, you have to pay extra to get on them, yet these are more sophisticated (thrilling) rides for the more grown members of the family. Food quality is iffy at best and some of the workers need to receive more training on customer service, especially in a place like this. Yet what really matters is that the children had a great time, enjoyed themselves and had a fun day out in Cairo's beautiful winter weather.
Note to the wise: Do NOT attempt to go there on a weekend or on a public holiday.
