We had a very nice stay in Bet El Kerem. It's a nice pension with 8 rooms. It's situated at the westbank of the Nile, beside the tombs of the nobles and the Nubian village. The city of Aswan is at the other side of the Nile, but easy to reach with the local ferry. We very much enjoyed the quiet place, the beautiful view, the food, the very clean rooms and the nice people and great service. It's lovely to sit at the roof terrace. It felt good. Because it's the only place to stay on this side of the Nile it is very easy to have contact with the nubian people, who are very friendly. It's easy to visit interesting places in the neighbourhood, you can do this on yourself or with help from the staff. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to come back sometime.

we are a french family, and we spent a couple of days in this nice guest house, Abdel and Ellen and their staff received us very friendly. The location is top because you can go to the east bank with the ferry and you can enjoy the country side in front of the nobles tombs . Many activities are suggested. Horse , camel ridding....
Better to Choice a room on the first floor, they are very confortable, and enjoy the very nice terrace for the breakfast and even for a break. Wonderfull Nil view.
I recommend this place because you are really in Egyptian life, close to the nublian villages.
