Having lived for sometime in Southern Egypt 10 years ago, I was more than eager to go back, and experience the splendors of the West Bank of the Nile once again. For the traveler that wants a magical and special Egyptian experience, away from the other tourists and big hotels, there is no better than Beit Sabee. The West Bank of the Nile, where many of the best tombs and temples are to be found, is the quiet and romantic side of Egypt. Having spent time in both worlds, there is no question that I will only stay at Beit
Sabee from now on.
The food is great, the people are very kind, and yes, it is in the desert, so expect heat and sand, but isn't that why we go?
I highly recommend Beit Sabee and think anyone that values making their visit to Souther Egypt special will be more than happy they stayed here.
