Went there today, 23rd May, to dodge the heat whilst on a mooch around the neighbourhood (staying at the Steigenberger Nile Palace).

Food was lovely and very tasty and the milkshakes were just what we needed to refuel after a wander in the blistering heat.

The owner was very friendly and had time to chat to us about the recent changes in Egypt. I can't speak for the bad review below, but I suppose we all have our off days, don't we. I'll upload photos so you can see the wares :)

We really disliked this place. The food was fine . The expat lady serving / cleaning tables was very hurried to the point that we felt like we were an inconvenience. Also the place was filled with other local expat restaurant owners from around the area who talked to each other loudly between tables , over our heads....felt very very cliquey, We were really glad to leave. In keeping with the experience, the waitress sighed loudly and came back to our table with an air of stressed annoyance when we asked for the bill. Not sure why, but we felt like we should be apologising to her for asking !!!!! Definitely I would think other positive reviews for this place are from other expat owners looking after each other in Luxor. I would not go back here. Not enjoyable at all!!

Laura and Mahmoud certainly know how to create a relaxing haven in the cenre of bustling Luxor. Situated in the little England area in Radwa Sherifa Street that is more or less opposite the Sonesta St George hotel. Highly recommended. Try warm home made ginger cake with ice cream and one of the excellent milk shakes, freshly pressed lemon or a first class coffee with a deep velvet taste.

Many of the customers are expat locals and all are really friendly. Sit at one of the street tables and watch real Egypt go by. You'll be in no hurry to move on!

There isn't a website but there is a FaceBook page
