Our 3rd visit to Hotel. Was extremely quiet this time, lovely. We were upgraded to a new room. These are 2 storey blocks similar to the old ones bur MUCH bigger rooms. I thought that the room was brilliant. Lovely tiles, huge flatscreen TV and designer bathroom, couldnt fault it. The bed was huge and very comfy, lovely pillows.
Lots of walking from the new rooms! Took 7 mins to walk to breakfast (fastish pace), and now much more grounds to explore than before. The new pool is stunning, although they have put a FENCE at the end spoiling the infinity effect, I bet the designer is thrilled. The pool is huge and will be brilliant for swimming, not heated during our visit. The quiet pool is heated though. No probs with getting shady sunbeds this year. The other infinity pool now looks small and dated in comparison.
All building work had stopped during our visit. The 'town houses' on the right of the entrance are concrete shells, and the old rooms by the old infinity pool are half way through being re-furbished. All the old rooms on the South side have been completed.
The new reception is very tasteful and huge, uncomfortable chairs though; and the dining room is lovely, better than before and now goes into the old reception also, making a much bigger room. Same food as last year despite so few guests. New gym is good also.
Well dome Maritim for getting SO MUCH done in the year since our last visit. The grounds are still superb and the new areas of garden are bedding in well. I really hope that business picks up for you.
