“Spectacular”
Reviewed 16 August 2012

You will never see anything like this. It is so beautiful. I would recommend a guide to make the most of the stories in the pictures and the history of the temple. Dusk/early evening is the best time to experience the magic.

Although Luxor Temple is Karnak's 'smaller sister' it is equally impressive. The colours as well as the carvings are incredible after so long

“stunning”
Reviewed 13 August 2012

Luxor temple is fascinating - a historical attraction right in the middle of the city juxtaposed by the yellow arches near it. You could possibly do this by yourself without a guide, but an egyptologist will create the scene for you in a way that a book won't be able to.
