“Valley of the Kings”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 July 2014

We were on a coach tour visiting the Valley of the Kings and free time was given to enter as many tombs as you like. They are amazing the colour are still so bright and after seeing few you can make out the stories of the pictures.

“Unforgettable!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 July 2014

The colours are just amazing to see. Looks as if the walls had been recently painted. So very interesting and would recommend a visit. I haven't been recently but went about 8 years ago but it didn't give me an option for an earlier date for my visit. Not sure what it is like present day but probably nothing has changed that much!

“the second Pharaoh of the Twentieth Dynasty”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 May 2014

according to our tour guide Rachid, Ramesses III is believed to have reigned from March 1186 to April 1155 BC. This is based on his known accession date of I Shemu day 26 and his death on Year 32 III Shemu day 15, for a reign of 31 years, 1 month and 19 days.Alternate dates for his reign are 1187 to 1156 BC.

“Make it one of the three”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 April 2014

All tombs are beatiful here but this specific one is my favoured. Be sure to make it one of the three tombs you can visit on your entry ticket.
The tomb of Ramesses III is one of the largest tombs in the valley and its superb decoration usually makes this one of the tombs visited by tourists; be ready for the hassle! But to not forget to look up because beside the walls, the decoration on the ceiling are absolutely breathtaking!
