“Wonderful temple of Ramses III”
Reviewed 7 May 2014

I'm an archaeologist and this was one of my highlights of Luxor. We had the entire place to ourselves. The temple is special because it retains a lot of its color on the ceilings. truly spectacular. Please visit Egypt. It is a wonderful place and safe contrary to what the media tells you. I took my family of five and we were treated better than anywhere I've ever travelled.

“Medinat Habu May 2014”
Reviewed 4 May 2014

With imagination it demonstrates an imposing mortuary temple. There are some examples of vibrant colours in areas shaded form the sun.

“Medinet Habu”
Reviewed 29 April 2014

This has to be my favourite Temple. For some reason it does not seem to be visited on mass by the British tourist, you get buses of Japanese, Italians and rather nice I feel the Egyptian school children.
The colours in this Temple and the heavily engraved walls are amazing. So deeply are the Hieroglyphics carved out I can't imagine how long it all took to do. A must see Temple in my opinion.

“Beautiful Temple in Luxor”
Reviewed 5 April 2014

This temple is simple, yet insightful. the colors are remarkable, but the condition of the temple is lacking because of protection. If you are in Luxor, this is a must view.

“A must see”
Reviewed 2 April 2014

It does not get any better than that! This amazing temple which resembles the mortuary temple of Ramesses II as it was, is quite well preserved and, for some misterious reason, overlooked by most tourists. Do not forget to include it in your itinerary; you will kill two birds with one stone: one the one hand, you will be overwhelmed by the beauty of this amazing temple and on the other you will eventually visit a place which is still quiet and not packed with tourists. Do not forget to tip the guardians; for as little as 10 Egyptian pounds (a little more than 1US$) they will open sections of the temple otherwise closed. Enjoy!
