“Artshoppe”
Reviewed 29 October 2013

The Valley of artisans was quite an interesting place. There were several different pieces of art depicting the ancient Egypt. Although I did not find it that interesting because I could find that kind of stone work in India too. But still if you are an art lover and want to purchase some artifacts this place is for you.

“Ancient Egypt on a human scale”
Reviewed 14 June 2013

Most interesting from a social history angle - where the builders and decorators of the tombs and their families lived for generations in isolation from the rest of the population on the east bank. Tomb decorations not so much about the kings, but ordinary lives of the work people and their supervisors.
