I highly recommend this hotel. Staff was great, service excellent! I had a nasty flu and one of the staff went to the pharmacy with me to help me communicate my symptoms and aquire medication. Location was perfect, right by Luxor temple and not far from the Luxor museum and Karnak. Good breakfast and restaurant (the camel was delicious!). Rooms were clean. I would definitely stay here again.

The room, the staff, the food and Osama.. All incredible, if I could rate higher than 5 stars I would. Everyone was incredibly helpful and enthusiastic, my friend and I felt like celebrities everytime we walked into the lobby. We booked a range of tours and activities through the hotel and they were worth every penny, our guide Hassan was immensely knowledgeable about ancient Egypt and helped us bypass the market traders with ease. There is nothing I would change about my stay at the Nefertiti, other than only staying 3 nights!

Oh also there's a young boy at the rooftop bar whose name I never caught but he definitely deserves an honourable mention. He was very helpful, polite and genuinely took an interest in what we'd been doing that day.

P.s. if you're the kind of person that loves having their towels folded into the shape of a camel while you're out for the day then this is the hotel for you.

Room tip: The rooms at the back have balconies, but you'll spend most of your time on the rooftop bar

We stayed here for three nights in April, two adults and two kids. We had a family room, fairly plain, but very clean, with a fridge, air con and small bathroom, which was all more than adequate for us. The restaurant on the roof was excellent, with a buffet breakfast. and a great view of the Avenue of the Sphinxes and Luxor Temple. The staff were very friendly, and extremely helpful with advice on where to go, directions, booking trips etc. And what a bargain. The whole stay was little more than 120 euros. Amazing. Can't recommend this place highly enough, and Luxor as a whole was fabulous too.

If you don't want to break the bank at a 5-star resort stay at the Nefertiti! You get quality and value. The rooms are air conditioned, have private washrooms, mini fridges and your room gets cleaned everyday

The highlight for myself, as for most guests, was the rooftop patio/restaurant and its views of Luxor Temple and the Nile River. The food was both fairly priced and very good

The staff here are very helpful. They help arrange tours to all the sights. The tour manager Ahmed also helped me arranged a taxi to the airport at 4:00am for a fair price and even walked with me to the pharmacy to help translate a few words.

Would come back again definitely.

My wife and I found the Nefertiti on the fly, while staying in Cairo. We were backpacking through the Valley and wanted a nice change of pace from the chaos of Cairo, as most tourists do. I stumbled upon the Nefertiti on TripAdvisor and knew immediately that this was the place to stay. We could not have been more right.

Bottom Line: Staying here helped shape the entire rest of our trip in a good way.

I cannot speak enough for the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff. Ahmed Hassan, in particular, went far above and beyond the call of duty in order to make us feel at home and to ensure we had a fulfilling vacation, both in and beyond Luxor, and were happy from the time we walked in to the time we left.

Upon check-in, we were treated very well, shown to our rooms, and carried on a long pleasant conversation about the country, culture, and history. Throughout the stay, the food was some of the best we had in Egypt. Ahmed arranged for further legs of our journey beyond Luxor and stayed in touch for the rest of our time in Egypt to make sure all was well and that we were safe. Where else do you get that kind of service?!

It is important to note that, since we are young, we were on a budget and certainly were not spending large amounts of money, they just did it because they cared. (In fact, they saved us HUNDREDS of dollars.) That in itself, has me reflecting on my own interactions with the folks I come in contact with.

The rooms were always tidy and clean, well appointed, and very adequate.

I would stay here EVERY time I come to Luxor and would hands down recommend the Nefertiti hotel to friends and family time and again. Do yourself a favor and stay here, I promise you will not regret it.

Thank you Ahmed and staff, from the bottoms of our hearts.

Room tip: Try to get a floor 4 room. The wifi is accessible and the street noise is quieter.
