We had a front room which overlooked the Nile and Luxor Temple. My Son and his wife had a side roon oppsite the mosque. Not good when the call to prayer booms out on a loudspeaker at 04.30 every day.So request a front room!!.Staff very friendly espesially Issac, the restaurant manager.Nice and clean.Fresh towels every day made in lovely shapes!Lovely roof top pool but a bit chilly.Breakfast, not a great choice, but they will make you a omlette ect quite willingly if you ask.Smack bang in the middle of Luxor,so quite noisy outside, but a few wines ect from the bar and its not noticable!!Great price and excellent value for money.Luxor fantastic and clean. Quite a bit of hassel from Shop keepers, taxi drivers and horse/carrage,but just have a laugh with them it is their way of life, they are friendly people.Fantastic all round.

Upon our request they put an additional bed and made the room for 3 persons. Unfortunately the room was very small we could barely get in open up our luggage. The hotel was 80% empty but they have chosen that room, not a bigger one.
Bathroom door lock was not working, and bath itself was not clean enough.
We called a cab and asked the receptionist how much we should pay. He said "30 L.P (egyptian pounds) is ok" we agreed with the cab driver on 10 L.P. and at the end we saw that even 5 would be enough; since the distance was too short. Trying to be fooled even by the receptionist was really disturbing.
Not a kind staff, except the janitors!!!
Room is not cleaned during the day.
Foods were not that bad.

We got put in this hotel for one day (THANK GOD) to wait for our night flight. Anyone who would book into this place must be scrapping the bottom of the barrel to say the least.

No way would we have slept in the beds and when they were called to prayers it sounded like they were in our room.

The place has damp or something climbing up the walls, see the picture.

No way would we have gone out at night, we were just glad to get out of the place.

We did have a meal in the restaurant before we left and that was as we had expected....inedible, God only knows where the meat came from and to be honest don't want to know.

AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE.

We were put up in this "hotel" by a tour guide for the pyramids. This place was deplorable. Dirty, slimy, fithly, dusty, dirty - every negative adjective you can think of applies to this sketchy, shady hotel. At one point, my friend and I (two females traveling alone) were convinced that we would be kidnapped and sold into the sex slave trade. No joke. We tried to flee. We have stayed at some sketchy places, but this place was fear inducing. We were so freaked out that we took a cab to the airport, but there were no flights leaving. We tried to take a nap, but the flies buzzing around our heads kept us from falling into the deep slumber escape that we sooooo needed. That, coupled with the construction and donkeys outside our window, made us want to slit our wrists in order to find relief. Luckily, we only were sentenced to a day of this horridness.

We stayed two nights at this hotel and loved it. Although the room might need some refurbishment the hotel has enough assets to compensate this. First of all their roof terrace including a swimming pool (not big but large enough) and secondly the friendly employees.

The biggest improvement is the breakfast but on the other hand we never found a decent breakfast in Egypt.
