Stayed for 3 nights in their Comfort Triple Room while holidaying in Luxor. It's a premium budget hotel, offering clean, spacious rooms with no fancy add-on's, but all amenities required for a pleasant stay are included - comfortable beds with clean linen, TV, silent but functional powerful window AC , Electric Kettle, Wardrobe, 24 Hrs Hot Shower with Tub (Tub is very compact, hence not really usable) & toiletries. An Intercom & Refrigerator can be considered by the management as it is really a necessity. Lovely Nile views from the terrace, which has Rooftop Restaurant. Breakfast is fixed set type, Egyptian cuisine, but quantity is enough for most guests viz. 2 types of bread, Cheese-Jam-Honey, Banana, Cucumber-Tomato-White Cream Cheese, Beans, & Yogurt, Omlette with Tea/Coffee. Mohammed, the attendant who supervises all functions at this hotel with 2-4 more assistants, is very friendly & helpful & ready to assist always with a smile. Local Tours Bookings are offered by them but the rates are very high. Guests can directly book with Taxi drivers available around the Ferry Terminal area or Tour Operators directly. e.g. For West Bank tour by private Cab covering VOK+VOQ+Hatshepsut temple+Collossi of Memnon+ Cluster of sites like Medinat Habu, Mermneptah temple & Ramesseum, we paid just 300 EGP when we booked directly with a Taxi driver for our 3 persons family for 7 hours, while rate quoted by the Hotel's front desk was 80 USD, which they dropped to 1000 EGP as special offer. The location is awesome, just 100 meters from Ferry terminal , along the Nile, at West bank, which is peaceful, fresh, serene as compared to the main city center on East Bank. Pl note 5 EGP is fare charged per head for tourists, for crossing the Nile river, either by public ferry or private fast motor boats. The shops close to the hotel sell at 2-3 times the actual cost, better walk down 100 meters for the main local shops zone for buying anything.
Overall strongly recommended for staying in Luxor.

We enjoyed our 4-day stay at Pyramids Luxor Hotel and it’s terrace with a Nile view. The hotel is situated on the calmer part of the city - to pass to the city center one needs to take a ferry or a little boat and it takes max 15’. Mohammed is a great and very helpful person who tries to find the best solution for each person. We were on a low budget and he helped us to arrange bicycles to go to the temples and a personalized trip. The room was nice with private bathroom. We recommend and would be glad to came back!

Great stay in a quiet spot. Wonderful staff (thank you Mohamed) and good tours. Recommended. We had the two bed apartment and it worked well for family with grown kids. Sunflower restaurant next door was good food.

Clean, quiet. Value for money. It's in a village but the staff can provide any service. A bit tough to find location but for us, it was ok as we informed driver early. No lift so elderly should choose ground floor rooms.

Room tip: Call them and request for what all you need before arrival if you are arriving late. They are very helpful.

The only positive part about our stay was the staff-Muhammed- who helped us in many ways. He took us to take picture for Luxor pass, he drove us to the valleys and he was extremey nice and helpful.

Typical to majority of the hotels we stayed in Egypt, this hotel is no exception in terms of lack of cleanliness, poor facilities in the room. There is a small window that hardly helps you to take fresh air. It was very difficult to find the hotel, there is no sign, it took almost 45 min for us to find the hotel.
