This is a quiet little restaurant in CBD, has outside sitting, not much of a view, but great food. Prices reasonable. Juices excellent, freshly made, cocktail was especially good. Tilapia was tasty and bhaija potatoes come spicy, extra hot and mild. The food is mainly local. The daily menu is written on the board. Do not miss.

For the best fish in town, this is the place to be.. I have never been disappointed. The fresh juices are also heavenly. You gotta try this place out to see for yourself!!

Nairobi can be a pricy city, but Kahawa turned out to be a good restaurant with reasonably priced tasty dishes. The staff were friendly and the service was great

Kahawa is one of the very few reasonably priced AND delicious diners in downtown Nairobi. While the coffee remains disappointing, albeit less disappointing than in the city's most other coffee houses (as everywhere in Nairobi/East Africa, only U.S. Americans might find some taste in the very weak and stale local brewing style), the food is a real treat, simple stews and curries with a strongly Indian touch. The setting of the restaurant didnt change much since the 1960s and sitting on the shadowy outside terrace is wonderful. What a pity that the outside smoking days are over...
