Maybe the expectations I had were too high, following the ecstatic reviews I found on TripAdvisor. The gardens and the setting in general are nice and convey a relaxed and elegant vibe. The food is decent but far from spectacular; I ordered the Kikapu Kuku (fried chicken) which was served with chips, tartare sauce and lime wedges. All in all a comfortable afternoon at a equitable price, but there are better places to eat in Nairobi if you are looking for a WOW.

Me and my husband went Tamambo on friendship day to celebrate ,we went there for late lunch ... i really like the atmosphere , its a restaurant in a open place ... i was feeling like i went back my student life with my hubby.. the food was very yummy and each dish is really good enough for one person and they serve the food quickly like we got our food within 10 mins. Thomas was serving to us and he was a very well behaved friendly person ... we are planning to visit this place very soon , but i appreciate this place for day time only because at night i think it will be very cold..

Menu has a wide range to choose from. Quality and quantity of food always impressive. To top it all, newly opened tamarind restaurant offers delicious sea food in a wonderful environment. A must go when in Nairobi.

This restaurant serves great food, the staff members are very friendly and helpful (we were served by a lovely waitress called Mary), and it's atmosphere is just great. The restaurant is also located about 600 meters from the Karen Blixen Museum.

This is a great place to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon in a small group of friends, while enjoying the ambiance and really good food. Beautiful, serene, garden surroundings, and I particularly enjoy the cheese Samosas! Would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to unwind and just chill away from the hustle n bustle of the city.
