This is the hotels main restaurant and it caters for many people, so the buffet selection is extensive and appetising.
We had the buffet for breakfast and the selection offered catered for several different nationalities. We had two a la carte meals too and one was very good (curried prawns) , the other not so impressive (risotto was undercooked).

Located at the Serena Hotel in Nairobi, this restaurant offers fine dinning, for those looking for something extra. The staff are very friendly and hospitable. The food is finger licking and nicely presented. Its a nice place to have a meeting around Nairobi as its very accessible and has parking.

This restaurant is the main place to eat at the Nairobi Serena so if staying there it's where you get breakfast where there is a good buffet. Evenings have a set menu and a good selection on the a la carte which includes grills and Indian style food. My friends had the Indian which looked and smelled lovely while I really enjoyed the grilled king prawns with peri peri sauce. You can choose to eat al fresco alongside the pool or indoors in the air conditioning.

Being tourists newly returned from safari, we felt a little out of place in the sophisticated atmosphere but were quickly put at ease. Good food and very good staff.

Friday night is seafood theme night at this restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyed the barbeque lobster and king prawn which were fresh and grilled perfectly ! Also serves oysters and sushi, as well as other standard buffet dishes. Waiters are attentive and offer very good service. Good selection of pastry, crepes, cheese and fruit to finish off. Restaurant setting is also very cosy and comfortable.
