For anyone who has read (or seen the film of) Out of Africa, this is the house Karen Blixen, her husband and lover (though not at the same time!) lived in, and from where she ran her coffee plantation. The farm has gone now, replaced by expensive housing, but the house and it's gardens remain, as does the view of the Ngong Hills. The museum is small, but well put together, combining as much of the original furnishings as could be recovered with items made for the film (which was shot here) - the tour guides also know their stuff, and were friendly and endlessly polite. The gardens are wonderful to wander around - a million moles from the noise and clamour of Nairobi - and overall, if you're a fan of the book or film, you'll love it. If you're not, there are plenty of other places to go in Nairobi!
