“Suffering from food poisoning”
Reviewed 28 June 2014

The service is great and the ambience is ok although a little bit too fake. I ordered stir fried prawns with lemon grass and the person I was with had fish soup. The fish soup was excellent but the stir fry was more like a 5 times refry from the day before; but it is not in our culture to moan so I just picked on a couple of cashews that were in, and a prawn after which I couldn't even look at it. Good thing too because I've been ill since yesterday with food poisoning.

“Best Thai food in Nairobi, great atmosphere”
Reviewed 15 June 2014

I love this restaurant. The location is great (it's right by the UN and has a very convenient, no-hassle parking lot) and you feel that you have entered a truly peaceful, relaxing place as you walk inside the garden in which the restaurant is located. Whether you sit at the bar, at the outdoor tables or in the half-sheltered sitting area, you will get to enjoy the lovely garden, tasteful decor and relaxing atmosphere while you have very tasty Thai food and drinks. The service is always excellent.

“Nice atmosphere - ok food”
Reviewed 15 May 2014

Went there for lunch with colleagues. We came early - and were extremely well attended by the waiter. He noticed every detail on the table and arranged all very well, service was quick and efficient.
Had the shrimpcakes as starter - really fresh and good! Chicken with hot basil and chili as main and yes.. it was really hot. And good. To recommend!

So - i will certainly come back!

“Very good thai food”
Reviewed 28 April 2014

The food was very nice. very nice. The ambiance is average. Outside seating is quite dark and the decor is average. It is worth it for the food and also very good portions were served.

“The only bad thing about the restaurant is the food”
Reviewed 29 March 2014

The ambiance is perfect, the garden is lovely and spacious, the bar is tucked in in the middle of it (it is maybe a bit too small, there was a bigger party and it became quite difficult to approach the bartenders) and the inside of the restaurant is a separate unit. There is wifi, toilets spotless. Service was not bad, they were a bit slow because it was Friday night and, unfortunately, they could do nothing to seat us inside (it was a bit chilly out, but we had to cope with that, no blanket was offered, but I guess that is not a custom in Kenya). Food, which was what we came for, was, sadly, not matching the interior or the garden of the restaurant. The second most famous Thai soup tom kha gai had way too much coconut in it, beef in mango juice was way too sweet and chicken with cashews unremarkable. If you ask them, they will serve food in a way that everyone at the table can try it and take what they like. Meal for two (two soups, chicken, beef, one portion of salad, one portion of rice), no drinks, was 3550 KES. In conclusion, I would come back for the atmosphere, maybe for a cup of coffee or to the bar, but I doubt I would want to have a meal there again.
