Lovely Patio bar-restaurant where details and decoration are very much taken care of. At the back side of the historical building there is a ruin of an old mosque that belongs to it. From the Patio you enter in the boutique (same owner) with interesting handcraft from all over the world.

Its on the main street or alley for that matter but once inside you wouldn't know.Great ambiance and basically the only place you can get coffee well done on the island. The food wasn't that tasty though, but i would come back again and again just to eat their carrot cake and cappuccino and read a book/newspaper in their lovely garden.

This little cafe not only serves great coffee, it's also a perfect place to escape the bustle of Lamu town and relax in pretty surroundings for a while with a newspaper or a book.

Stopped in for a coffee just as they were closing (though the waiter could not have been more gracious). Enjoyed a really well made cappuccino and an excellent coconut lemon bar (many times pastry in Kenya, at least outside Nairobi, isn't all that exciting (sorry) but this was rich and intensely flavorful).
