It's a wonderful and serene place. Really modern and respect of nature. The staff is so friendly and the way the serve you food has nothing to envy any big restaurant. The chef does some really delicious meals that are very natural and fresh. If you are looking for a place where you will be away from all the hassle of town life and still have your comfort then I recommend osero lodge.

We flew from Mombasa to Masaai Mara, as a family of 6. We were welcomed at the airstrip with a cold glass of champagne. We saw most of the animals en route to the camp. The experience at the camp was really nice it made the next four nights go unnoticed. Food was fantastic the rooms are very large with en suites, mine had a bath and shower. We were treated with lavish drinks on our sun downer. We had a a butler though we never needed to use the service. The staff were very helpful, not to mention the gourmet food. I would definitely want to come back during the migration.

Room Tip: I recommend tent number 3 it had loads of elephants outside

Everything about our stay was amazing. On our first game drive, we saw lots of wildlife - and it got even better. The accommodation is wonderful - spacious 5star rooms, with four-poster bed, en-suite shower, bath, double sinks - as much as we could ask for anywhere. The manager, Lily, set the scene for great hospitality supported by staff for whom nothing was too much and always with a smile. The food and service were excellent too. Top class cuisine as they said on the website - the best food and wine we had on our entire holiday. Take a jacket - the open restaurant and bar get cool in the evening. Masai Mara is a wonderful, peaceful, enchanting place. This will surely be one of the most sought-after camps. It was the highlight of our entire holiday!

Room Tip: We stayed in #8 which was great. #1 2 and 3 also looked good.

We have been to the Osero Lodge in Masia Mara on 30 Jan 2014. We loved the place, the staff is simply excellent. They are willing to do anything to make you happy. Lilly is great in trying to make the stay very nice. Stanly is the best cooker we met in Mara. The food in that lodge is excellent. The tents are modern with very good bathes. The lodge is designed to provide maximum privacy and natural view. The only thing bothering was house flies. Though it is known that going to the nature has to deal with meeting insects and others but it is a bit too much. It was not due to unclean lodge but I guess it is the altitude and being in a valley during dry season helped in having dozens of them. I sincerely hope that they will find a solution to that which if solved will make them number one choice in that area.

Room Tip: All rooms are good rooms

We were so proud to be among the first guests to stay at Osero Lodge. Of the 6 hotels we stayed at during our safari across Kenya and Tanzania (including some highly regarded hotel chains) Osero was easily the best experience we had. It's a boutique hotel, with just a few rooms. The atmosphere is intimate and warm, and the service and attention are very personal. The in-house chef is available for all meals and cooks some of the best food we had in Africa. The tent cabins are the nicest you're likely to see anywhere, with 5-star amenities including beautifully-appointed washrooms and power outlets. The warmth and friendliness of Kenyan culture was at it's absolute finest at Osero. The staff is helpful and bent over backwards to help us. Stay here while you can, because once word gets out about Osero it will be very difficult to find an available booking.
