I had a one night stay at the Radiance in March 2013, arranged very easily via email
It is an unpretentious hotel, but is obviously well run, with attentive management and staff. I had a large room which was well air conditioned, had an additional ceiling fan and an intact bed net. The en suite bathroom was basic but, like the rest of the hotel, very clean and perfectly serviceable. The view from the room is very uninspiring, but I had no street noise.
It is a 50Schilling tuk-tuk ride from the hotel to Digo Road (10-15 mins walk). The security seemed good too, with a guard full time on the street entrance. During the post election tensions, it felt like a safe and welcoming place to stay.More
