We have just returned home after spending a week at this hotel. We were very impressed with the rooms and amenities. Initially i thought we had been upgraded as the room exceeded my expectations. Lots of lovely touches including the tv in the bathroom, the electric curtains, and the shower room with the rain shower head. Great location, helpful concierge and a lovely indoor pool. We had an issue with the room temperature overnight which was set at between 22 -25 Celsius. This was far too hot. We tried to turn it down but to no avail. Several staff tried to assist and the duty manager had the engineer check it out for us but it didn't make any difference. It made it very uncomfortable to sleep at night so we opened the windows which then let in the noise from the 24 hour constructions sites across the road from the hotel. So it was either the heat or noise that kept us waking up during the night. This did spoil our stay somewhat. We felt that the hotel was overheated generally which might be due to a cultural preference but it was not to our liking. If the hotel lowered the temp down and there wasn't any more construction work overnight I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

I am a very regular visitor to the Beijing (1-2X a month) and I often choose this hotel because it is close to my office and it is better than almost any standard Hilton Hotel in the United States. The overall quality of the hotel is good - but where it comes up short is service. The rooms are large and well furnished & the bed is very high quality/comfortable. Internet quality/speed is good (but they charge too much for it). The hotel food (breakfast) is good - but not outstanding (hotel buffet breakfasts in China are often really, really good). The hotel gym is small, but has good quality equipment. The pool is also small, but is very stylish and of good quality (note to families - the pool is "hip" - but not really a kid-friendly). The overall hotel feels more like a "W Hotel" in the US but without the W's snobby "we're too hip for you" attitude. This is definitely not the typical dowdy Hilton. The only drawback to the hotel is the service level. Sure, it is acceptable, but after 12+ stays in a year, you'd think they'd remember some of your preferences and give you an occasional upgrade to the club level. No, unlike the Marriott or Hyatt, the Hilton does not do that - so that's why I am ambivalent about this hotel. If you can reserve this hotel for a competitive rate, you should - but there are other hotels nearby such as the Hyatt or Peninsula which are a step up from this hotel in service and quality.

The Hilton Beijing Wangfujing is the most beautiful 5+ star hotel. The rooms are spacious, luxurious and comfortable. The layout just perfect, huge bathroom with spacious closet area, bathtub, shower and toilet all separate, with extra special touches all over the place. The bar is great, the breakfast exceptional, something for everyone and nice atmosphere. Steps away from a food market and a great mall, shopping etc.
I highly recommend it for any occasion.

This hotel is prefect in every way. Nicely located in the middle of the Chaoyang district just off Wangfujing. The room (suite) was massive, with lot´s of thoughtful touches like the rainshower, the walk in closet, the stand-up minibar, the separate commode and bathing areas, and the desk which was off to one corner and away from the bed.

The executive lounge was a delight, it was small enough to feel exclusive, but had at the same time all the service needed. The two and a half hrs in the evening when beer and drinks were served was also a treat. The hotel staff, not only in the executive lounge, were extremely nice and helpful. There is really nothing very much to complain about, apart from one night when we were disturbed by the construction taking place outside the hotel. All in all, a great hotel! I'm definitely staying there the next time I'm in Beijing.

Central location, recently constructed, new equipment in the rooms. The staff is friendly, but the concierge provided repeatedly wrong information. The duty manager is overworked, however helpful. The breakfast at the executive floors is nothing special, but go to the regular breakfast restaurant: there you find an excellent choice and excellent quality for all tastes (one of the best breakfast buffets I've seen). As in most Hilton hotels, if you book excursions, tours or limousine service, this is overpriced.

We stayed at the Hilton Beijing Wangfujing for our honeymoon and it was one of the best rooms we have ever stayed in. From the electric curtains, to the pillow menu, to the beautiful bathtub, we couldn't have asked for a better place. The service was impeccable; the staff knew it was our honeymoon so they arranged a cake, a selection of home made chocolates, cakes and coffee beans and they came into our room and left rose petals in the bathtub and romantic music playing on an iPod. It is also well located next to the major Wangfujing strip and a major shopping mall. The Hilton Beijing Wangfujing surpassed all our expectations, despite being the number 1 on TripAdvisor and it would be our pleasure to stay there again.

Stayed here in March 2010 as a one-week business travel to Beijing. Choose this hotel based upon Tripadvisor.com recommendations, and it does not disappoint. The rooms are very good at the quoted price, the service is (almost...se later) flawless and th elocation for central Beijing is perfect for shopping and siteseeing. As a business traveller, I appriciate that the service staff speak english - even the freezing guys outside, and that attention is brought instantly and with competence. However, this hotel can be somewhat pricy if you stay with their services. Internet is available allover, but only free WLAN is in the lobby, the theme restaurants on 5th floor are very attractive but really expensive compared to the Beijing entertainig scene. And you should by all means avaid the hotel limousine and driver servicdes which comes at a horrible premium (RMB 700 for taxi to the Airport!) compared to the street taxis (RMB 85-100 to the Airport). However, Breakfast is a pure feast of options, beddings, wahsrooms and general comfort is brilliant and the locations is close to Perfect. Highly recommended and will stay here again.
