+ Near Subway
+ Easy to get a taxi
+ Nice decor
+ Free WiFi
+ Helpful staff
+ The Frateilli Italian restaurant run by Fabio his team is excellent

- Breakfast buffet is the most comprehensive I have seen but there is only 1 all inclusive price option. They need a lower price Continental option. There is a really good pastry / coffee shop across the road called Tous Les Jours that is a great alternative

stayed for 4 nights in early Nov 2011. Since I am a platinum member we had a room on a few floors below the exective floor, I believe it was on the 26th floor. I had redeemed points for the room though I believe the going rate for this room was in the $200USD range. Overall the hotel was very good, newer and well maintained, not quite 5 star but close. The room had 2 double beds, a large bathroom with a soaking tub and enclosed shower. Very comfortable with good storage and nice finishings. Very clean and comfortable. Only complaint was the hot water, especially in the tub was not that hot. Never heard anyone in the adjoining rooms so the soundproofing seemed to be good. The exec floor was excellent, very nice buffet breakfast (eastern and western) and complimentary computer usage, drinks and light snacks (alcoholic drinks were free from I believe 6-10) until midnight every night. Plenty of space with a lounge atmosphere on the 30th floor. Service from front desk and concierge was good, not great. English was somehwat of a challenge from some employees though they tried hard to please. We did not try any of the full service restaurants in the hotel. The indoor pool and gym was on I believe the 31st floor. It was very nice though did not appear to be heated. there was also a steam room and jacuzzi. The hotel was convenient to the metro and is across the street from a mall. There are many nice restaurants and shops that are either within walking distance or a close trip by taxi. The historic sightseeing is accessable by metro or taxi.

As a Marriott Gold member looked after hotels in Beijing and went for this as the tripadvisor rate was quite impressive...Can just say that I agree with previous rates it s a nice hotel as well not too far away from le centre and sanlitun soho village eg. 15min taxi ride...next to it there is a cinema and as well a lot of restaurants in the R+F mall across the road 5min walk...Evening club lounge free snacks meals are ok had already better ones eg. JW Marriott Bangkok/Jakarta where there was more to choose from but if you not too picky it brings you as a light snack as well through the night with the free booze in the 24 floor...gym/pools located in the top floor 26 with impressive views ... breakfast a lot too choose from 5* like .. all in all top clean top facility top quality absolutly a way to live away from home...Go for it!!

In stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights while on a shopping trip with a friend. About half an hour by cab from the airport, it's fairly centrally located and easy to cab around  China's capital. The reception area of the hotel is enormous, very modern in decor, the feel is reminiscent of a club. Bedrooms are spacious and well equipped with a large bathroom with separate shower and slipper bath. Breakfast buffet is extensive offering both Western and Eastern cuisines, much cooked to order. Breakfast room staff were lovely, but I felt that the reception staff were a bit offhand. The policy of taking a deposit on your credit card as soon as you check in is not one I've come across before. Room service breakfast left a lot to be desired, beautifully prepared it was stone cold and the finish on the teapot was peeling. Breakfast was comped on checkout but the fact that it was probably one of  the first orders of the day (6am) and was still cold was a bit worrying.....

I stayed here for 4 nights at the start of August and LOVED it. Title says it all, really. The location is pretty good, handy for the subway, local shopping mall and lots of taxis around if that's what you prefer. Never heard anyone in the rooms next to mine and that's unusual in Beijing, but I don't know if that was because of good soundproofing or if they were just empty. The restaurant where you have breakfast is beautiful - made even me feel like one of the cool kids - and the range of food available at breakfast was great.

A spectacular hotel near shopping centers and not too far, by cab, from Tienenmen Square. We had an upgraded room, which was the size of a small suite, with couch, huge bathroom, and access to club floor, where we ate both meals. Look for weekend specials. A beautiful garden area near hotel provided a great place to walk in the mornings.

Travelled to Beijing on business and stayed for 3 days! Was very impressed by the quality of the rooms; lavish breakfast spread; high class amenities; impeccable service and quality restaurants. All this at a reasonable room rate (maybe because of company tie-up). Also, the location was very convinient as it was close to downtown/restaurants/bars etc. Walked down to a close by Quanjude Peking Duck Place and had a great meal

Room Tip: Great views all round!
