Read the reviews and baffled by the complaints! Taxi driver from Beijing airport took me straight there (recognised McDonalds underneath). Foyer hard to find (at the back) but once there, service great. Wi-fi worked immediately but firewall a bit suspect. Jinsong station maybe 5 minutes away, not a long walk. However cross the road in front of the hotel, turn right and take 52 bus (regular service) straight to Wanfujing tourist area for 1RMB, maybe 5 stops.

Also large supermarket underneath and you can buy anything as well as McDonalds.

Only problem I had was a room facing main road.. noisy and if you open window smell of restaurants below. Asked for a rear facing room, immediately granted, fabulous large room (usual hard Chinese bed) not a good look but spacious and quiet.

When leaving walked outside and porter called me a taxi back to the airport, the wait maybe 2 minutes! So pay a fortune in tourist area or save a fortune at this hotel. For me, no problems!

It’s a decent, clean, relatively roomy hotel with a comfortable bed and a nice shower. It’s not perfect but they are trying. The only very annoying thing is that wifi doesn’t always work in the room (and the stairwell's pretty scary). Staff are relatively helpful. There are a couple of restaurants around the block, a supermarket downstairs, and a McDonald’s. It’s about a 10-minute walk to Line 10’s JingSong station.

All we wanted, was a clean hotel to put us up for 5 nights.

Upon arriving, we were very pleased because it is very clean and the rooms were really huge.

I will just list down the pros and cons:

Pros:

Huge room, clean room, clean sheets, comfy and big bed, friendly stuff, huge super market and 24 hours macdonald just downstairs, bakery opp of road, many power outlet, free wifi

Cons:

Paper thin walls, shower water cant stay warm, not very near to Jing Song MRT

The only reason that i wouldnt stay would be the location, would prob want to stay in the one in Jian Guo Men.

But for 350RMB a night, it was totally worth the value.

I was here for a 1-night stay, and thought this hotel is cheap and clean, should be fine, but turned out to be a total miss!

The good: it's a budget hotel, has everything you need in there, free wifi, location is okay, although off from the main street, cars can't really get in the front entrance of the hotel, so you will have to pull your luggage off the taxi yourself.

The bad!!!:
1. Thin walls: I heard about the Orange Hotel in China chain having the "thin walls" problem but didn't expect it to get this bad. People from the room next door to mine got into a big fight at 2am-3am, not only did they wake me up...I can actual hear every word they were talking about, so this is how you define "paper thin walls"...

Don't choose this hotel if you can't stand loud noise from your neighbors...

Stayed here for about a week during a solo trip to Beijing. The hotel is near the terminus of a subway line, so is easily reached. Reception staff spoke very little English, but were helpful nonetheless. Rooms were attractive and clean, although the bed was a little on the hard side. The free wifi was fast and reliable.

We stayed 4 nights at the hotel, which is located closely to the subway (line 10). Our room was nice, clean and cozy, the bathroom clean and spacious. The staff was friendly, the hotel very well maintained.

Good:
+ clean, nice rooms
+ great great bed
+ friendly staff
+ very reasonable prices

Not so great:
- location (subway is close, so every hotspot is reachable in no time)

I would go there again - or check the other "Orange Hotels" across town, which might provide the same rooms/services but in a better location..

Typical member of this popular chain. This property fairly near subway station (terminus of line 10). Good value in an expensive city.
